Luckily MS is dominating the industry world-wide. Give it time, Japan will come around. And, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Halo 3 and other titles sold very well considering the install-base.
The attach rate for Xbox 360 owners in Japan is pretty good..

I concur, it would be smart to wait for a better source. Sure, the price will be dropping (as will the PS3), and it would be smart to do it with one of 2008's sure-fire biggest sellers, especially since only the Xbox 360 will have the complete GTA game.
That said, MS has plenty of great games lined up. No one's worried in Washington I'm sure.

MS needs a new mobile / portable gaming plan. I suspect Windows SideShow ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... may be their future.. perhaps something in the Zune line.
But, its an interesting plan to let Blue Dragon get licensed on the DS.. its like giving away the first crack-rock for free. Get them hooked, then you've got them for the next one.
Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved is such a great old-school-feeling time-waster. Love it, its one of the first things that people play when they say "oh, i dont like games" or somesuch when they are at one of my parties.
Put GW:RE on and watch them all flock....
I cant wait for this 2nd version. Just great, can't wait.

This forum doenst realize that Crysis The Game was written to flesh out the CryEngine. The CryEngine is the real product, the engine.
Like Epic and the Unreal Engine, sold to Ubisoft in 2006, they are hoping to license the engine.
I wouldnt be suprised if it is ported to both consoles. If Crysis The Game comes, I'd be more surprised.

Uhm, the world-wide install base for PS3 is less than half of the Xbox 360 install base.
