They take a lot of time, but that time is also scheduled and the project is managed.

The question isnt "does it take a long time" but, why is the game delivery slipping and slipping. Totally different.

Of course they are. Square is disappointed with PS3 sales. They cant releaes their biggest title exclusively on a console that has floundered in the market.

Its a numbers game, and clear as day. If there are only ~7.5 Million PS3s in the world, they cant release a game with this kind of budget.

I dont know if you're aware, but this troll is VASTLY outnumbered by the other brand of idiot.

Gears was flawless, and your "4-5 enemies" is inaccurate. And, what issues are you talking about with Mass Effect? I've played about 20 hours now, and havnt seen an issue. It too is flawless in a technical AND a work of art.

Gears and Mass Effect were two of the best reviewed games of the last 2 years.

You're simply wrong.

Its been demonstrated more than once -- on this website no less -- that the Xbox 360 version of this game looks better. Other than the graphics the gameplay will be little different.

Another Xbox 360 advantage: The Guide will show what you're playing to your friends and accept game invitations from them while your playing DMC4, you can get IMs from your PC-based friends straight to your console, and you can play a custom soundtrack...

Which version is better no...

Fanboys arent even following the site's guidelines:

This: "Frontlines: Fuel of War cancelled for PS3" is the title of the story.

And, I put a report when there were only 2 approvals, so, 8 more people approved it even though the story didnt follow the guidelines.

Way to go.

Now, that said, the U3 engine isnt to blame as much as Sony's delay (which put back securing development funds) and the small install base.

Sweet - bring on the LIVE RTS gameplay.

I dont even think the price has anything to do with it. The variety of compelling features (LIVE, Guide, Marketplace, Windows Media Center, Messenger and the rest) are head-and-shoulders above on Xbox 360.

Assume for a moment they are equally capable game machines (they are roughly equal hardware wise, library-wise & 3rd party support surely goes to Xbox 360) -- its the OTHER features that MS is bringing to the table that makes it a better box.

No doubt.

While it is an interesting project, the reason its cut (edited) that way (IMHO) is because it wasnt one take, but many set-ups and knock downs put together.

Otherwise, someone would *want* to show that it was a single run, doing so by having a "single take".

This game has that epic kind of feel. I hope it turns out as good as it looks -- I dont care how long they delay it, as long as they ship it finished.

Im eager to see more before I say its a must-have, but it looks very promising. The developer (FunCom) did Anarchy Online, which I really enjoyed a great deal.

Because Kotaku is very anti-MS and so is this website.

"doesn't hold the rights for the game forever, "

Oh! Good, someone who has read the contract. Can you tell us what else it says? Clearly, you're speaking with such conviction that contradicts our casual understanding of the game industry, so you _must_ have read the contract right?

By your Logic, people should be saying that Little Big Planet -- which is ONLY published by Sony, but the development and IP is from Media Molecule -- "could" be...

Yeah, they've been good to keep the game fresh, but the fanbase is certainly primed for GeoW 2.

This new ultraportable costs $400ish more than other ultraportable laptops on the market, and it has far fewer features.
