GTA IV: Is the Xbox 360 Version Superior?
Answer: Yes. Like every other mulit-plat game yet shipped. Not a surprise to anyone I wouldnt think*.
*Except those delusional fanboys who cannot accept the reality that has been proven and repeated over and over again for the last 24 months.
You wont regret it, if you play videogames, you'll not regret it for a second.
There is no such thing as "Conservative" or "Liberal" news.
That's the point. Fox isnt *news* at all, it is fabrication and propaganda that reenforces your false world-view.
Anyone who lives outside the united states watches fox and thinks it is a PARODY. Everything they put on that station is CLEARLY false.
This has to be clear to you. When you watch other news, and it appears "Liberal", it is because you have a de...
You're right, its totally been misrepresented. That's the point really, Fox has just basically lied and "smeared" the game as was their intent.
For anyone who watches Fox News -- and knows about ME and videogames -- needs to know that *every* Fox News story is this kind of warped, sensational fabrication.
Fox news is a propaganda network for the interests of the Plutocracy - dont forget it. If you see it in public, change the channel. If you know som...
The PS3 cant emulate the PS2, if it was possible, it would have been there from the start. That's why they had to put the chips in the PS3.
Its not going to happen.
@3.1
I'm like you. I *must* go through every nook and cranny a game has to offer. I just loved Blue Dragon, and played through it twice -- I got nearly 100 hours of gameplay out of that game.
There are some players who "rush" from objective to objective, but I grew up on the old Nintendo 2D platformers where patience rewarded exploration (secret levels!), and I simply cant play a game these days without checking every rock, door, town and tree.

It would be nice if Sessler got onto Fox!
You're 100% dead correct. Why these PS3 owners are *wanting* the world to have only the MPAA prefered option is beyond me.
Its like saying "I dont want any fair-use rights!" and "I like spending more money for less features!" Yeah!
@1.2
"the consumers have spoken, they want Blu-ray now... NOT hd-dvd- "
No. Im sorry. What has happened is that the MPAA has chosen, and then used the press to declare the "format war over".
Informed consumers -- those not routeing for it from a game-console-wars perspective -- are pretty clear:
HD-DVDs are less money to manufacture.
HD-DVDs include a DVD-copy of a movie, and play in DVD players.
HD-DVD pl...
"If you’re a dyed-in-the-wool 360 fan who’s become concerned by the lack of exclusive third-party 360 games of late"
Uhm, no. Why on earth would that be?
http://www.neogaf.com/forum...
If they had a PS3 exclusive they would have spent more money (for development) to achieve the same result as they would for the Xbox 360 and ended up with less game.
Evidence for this? Every Multi-plat game that isnt the same, is better on Xbox 360, graphics, features or gameplay.
Secondly, becuase the PS3 was delayed and has sold poorly the install base is vastly smaller. PLUS, for some reason, the PS3 owner doesnt buy as many titles as his Xbox 360 peer.
No. The PS3 development problems will only mean that Xbox 360 owners have to wait while they bring the PS3 game up to the same standard.
Dont be ridiculous.
This could also be why the Xbox 360 is getting the exclusive content or, The Whole Game.
Perhaps the testing / development time would have delayed the game more if they wanted to bring the whole game to PS3?
There have been plenty of rumours that its going to cut the price again. I think they should, if they want to have a chance to make up the ground that they've lost, they must do it.
And, if 3rd Parties want to make any money, there going to need a bigger install base.
Square is holding back FF, Haze has been delayed, other games are cancelled -- its because the PS3 hasnt sold.
If Sony wants to keep its partners happy, it better cut the price.
You can get Vista SP1 right here if you want:

Yeah, it sells millions, but there have been over a dozen games, and the big sellers require install-bases VASTLY VASTLY greater than the current PS3 install.
Sony is desperate to get their install up -- by cutting features and slashing prices -- and Square is waiting until that number gets up.
2) Is Microsoft working on their own version of Home?
They were...six years ago. Back in 2002, there was a small team inside Microsoft working on an "application" called LiveUniverse for the Xbox, which was more or less Home, it was slated for release around the launch of Xbox Live, but the project got canceled when work on Xbox Live fell behind.
So, before we have to repeat this 1000000 times on N4G, lets get this straight (assuming this article is accurate)...
