The point of Home is to sell thngs. Developers and such are going to have the ability to perform micro-transactions; think toll-booths to Online gaming and sales of downloadable content in Second Life and you've got Home's purpose.

For starteres, MS has been doing gaming for 30 years. They've been publishing and writing games in-house for the whole time. MS has as much input in the evolution of the industry as anyone else.

Every Xbox 360 with a HDMI port (probably even the Core, just without the HDMI header on the pins) has Motherboard Version 1.1. This Motherboard has fewer components, smaller components, new layout, and a new CPU/GPU mounting methodology.

I have bought 5 consoles (3 as gifts) one Elite downstairs, Pro upstairs. Zero problems.
I have have yet to meet a single person with a problem. While I only have about 20 people on my friends list (that I know all personally (friends / family)) none of them have had a problem.

Your missing the point. Sega and Capcom aren't delaying PS3 releases because of Xbox 360, they are delaying development.
They can put off hiring external art & graphics teams, motion capture, marketing, hiring new people, audio and on and on... kind of slow down their projects.
Sega and Capcom are going to watch how badly Xbox 360 outsells PS3 in the next 3-6 months to know if PS3 is going to be viable.
