Multi-disc doesnt matter because you dont have to change the discs any more than 8-15 hours of gameplay.
Thats why. No one cares.
There are plenty of RPGs on Xbox 360.
Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata and Lost Odyssey are all solid 7.5-8.0/10 ish games. Good games, not The Best Video Game In History(TM) but well worth playing.
It also has Oblivion and its 5 expansion packs for WRPG.
This is just more good news.
Huh? 8/10 is pretty damn good pal. Please, take a turn to the right -->
The game looks terrific. I cant wait to get through it.
Totally uncredible.

Everyone saying "they are being lazy" dont get it.
This has to do with MONEY. Not motivation.
Over and over in this forum (on this site for months and months) people say "Oh, they're lazy", these poeople do not understand that this is a situation of elemenatry forces of business.
It is about budgets. It is about recovering those budgets. When a developer releases a game that is poor quality, its because that Firm's leadership...
"how much money and help Insomniac gets from Sony for their 1st party games? A LOT. "
What we are seein ghere is a pattern. One related to economics as much as the design of the PS3 vs. XBox 360 w/r/t development.
In order to get equal performance from a PS3, you have to spend more money. If you dont, you get poorer performance. Therefore, PS3 games cost more to develop.
Microsoft has *always* been about enabling others. In the days o...
Good art direction, and it does look interesting. But, it seems to be a fist-fighting FPS... dont get me wrong, I do like an FPS, but I'd hope the story can match the quality of the Art.
I cannot agree more about #2, the flood. I actually felt sick when I saw how realistically disgusting they were.
My wife couldnt even look at it. Crawling around inside a giant, sickening Flood Infestation that was pulsating, slimey and glistening. Just terrible.
Oh, and near impossible to survive.
"LUKE PLUNKETT from Kotaku needs to go back to Marketing 101.
Saying "Not generally the soundest of marketing strategies", clearly he has never taken a marketing course in his life.
I think they'll have to do something. I dont know if it will be a Games Only device.
They could go the cellphone route by making a Games for Windows Mobile initiative. But Nokia has already failed with the cellphone/game.
Personally, I see them extending the Zune to be Zune Play or somesuch. They could make the Zune a XNA Target.
Its a natural move, they could do it very easily. What I dont see is them going for Mass Market in a head-to-head fa...
"only PC hasn't got rumble"
Untrue. Have a look here:

Or, plug in the wired Xbox 360 controller into your PC.
" but if you liked PS3 style RPG's and are desperate for something on the 360"
Wouldnt this more accuratley read:
"but if you like J style RPGs and are desperate for something on *any* system"
Is there a JRPG on the PS3 yet?
It is hardly "another mediocre" JRPG. This very review says otherwise -- IGN gave it a pretty damn solid score. Look above.
Further, famitsu gave it a 33/40 (9/8/8/8)
http://www.n4g.com/xbox360/...
Your certianly entitled to your opinion. But please, if if you consider this "mediocre", your clearly being dishonest. Care to offer naming a JRPG game released for ...
" It may not be in the same class as Mass Effect, but for a system in desperate need for more quality RPGs, Lost Odyssey fits nicely into the 360 library"
I dont understand this idea. If the Xbox 360 is lacking in RPGs, what about the Wii and PS3?
That is simply silly. Eternal Sonata (7.9/10 metacritic score), Oblivion (9.4/10(with 5 DLC packs)), Blue Dragon (7.9/10) are good to great RPGs, what alternative does one have on the other systems?
...
I dont know if you understand, I believe you do not.
Regarding the PS3's CPU: That is exactly what this article is telling you. They are going to have to do a lot of CPU specific coding to optimize the game to run on the PS3 as well as Xbox 360.
They are being forced to do cell-specific coding to overcome its design. They arent doing it so they can realize some kind of 4D graphics, they are doing it because they must. If they do not spend more time and money ...
MS doesnt "need to borrow" - they're doing so because money is *cheap* to borrow.
They are making a cash + stock offer (50% + 50%). According to their financials, they made $18B profit last year, and have $20B on hand.
Wii is going after a different market. There will always be a high-end gamer willing to pay $500 for the latest and greatest technology.
Dont worry, Wii isnt going to stagnate the market. They're simply dropping out of the race.
Why would you want that?
All irrational nonsense aside, what would happen if Sony and Apple became bigger players in the market?
You can kiss your fair use rights goodbye for starters. Steve Jobs sits on the board of Disney, and is the largest shareholder. Disney is a major copyright-zealot, perhaps responsible for the current regime (DMCA and other such nonsense) more than any other.
Sony and Disney (Jobs) together would be terrible.

Yeah, even the title here is loaded with an inaccurate slant.
Saying they "deny" it implies that they are being dishonest.
Its like when you walk up to someone and say "Your house is filled with purple bananas!" and then you say "Uhm, no." the headline later reads:
"the power of green denies the purple bananas in his house".
Its just silly.
