AND WTF are you sony idiots doing in a 360 related article? Don't have any games to play so you scour the internet for 360 news to talk trash?
Brilliant.
Guess I should mention that I OWN a PS3, I just like the games on my 360 (at the moment) better.
So go eat a big one.
Ok fanboys, go back and read on the issues of XBL accounts getting hacked. It never happened. People got scammed through social engineering. That is not a hack.
AGAIN it doesn't affect anyone else. You can't use older versions of the dashboard on XBOX Live.
So what if it lets people run homebrew. As long as the hacks stay off of xbox live then it doesn't matter (except the ability to pirate games).
and last checked there is no security problem with the 360. Even when they get this working there is no way you can use this on XBOX live. so what does it matter? Let them hack away. As long as it stays off of online play (which is WHY we pay $50 a year) then who cares.
Apparently the Sony fanboys because it gives them ammunition in some way.
Uhm, Every console in history has been hacked. Guess you should stick to Tiger LCD games.
CHRIST people.
Falcon DOESN'T ADDRESS THE RED RING ISSUE. It was modifactions to the actual motherboard that (hopefully) solved the problem.
Everyone keeps harping on this Falcon processor when it doesn't do anything for you. Complaining like MS OWES you a 65nm cpu, what MS DOES owe you is the newly revised heatsink and soldering of the components, and they ARE giving that to you.
because the falcon DOESNT FIX ANYTHING.
It's chepaer and runs cooler, every console has had a cpu revision, even when they dont need to. The red rings is not a CPU related problem.
Seriously people think about this, if people "fixed" their red ringed 360s by wrapping a towel around it and overheating it, doesit REALLY sound like the CPU has ANYTHING to do with the failures? COMON.
the Red rings failure has already been addressed with the improved heatsinks and better soldering. My elite was produced in july and it has the new heatsink. Waiting and trying to find an xbox with a falcon won't mean squat.
all this bullcrap about the falcon. the 65nm processor has nothing to do with the failures. Newer heatsinks and better soldering DO address the failures. And those have been in PRODUCTION since july.
Really? I mean REALLY? People are pissed off about this?
wow.
This chowder clown on playthree is a moron. it wasn't even JEFF who brought up the reviewer's inability to grasp the concept of the game.

This is retarded. Bloggers. PFFT.
Kinda funny. you guys did the same thing with MGS4.
Yeah that one surprises me. It is on the top of my list actually. VERY nice visuals.
hopefully they release an updated Blacksite demo that is more like the release version, because the demo had some issues. Otherwise it could be pretty promising.
And I have to admit, that one trailer for Army of Two was hilarious, which put it on my radar :)
I don't know if I'll ever have enough time to finish the games I've got :)
well..Jeff DID give Burnout a 9.1 :)
And he gave Tekken: Dark Resurrection a 9.2
Oh there we go, he gave GOW a 9.6.
Guess he's not all that bad :)
you cant possibly judge a game of this depth off of a 20 minute demo...
Half-Life 2 is unequalled in my eyes, don't get me wrong, but I think this is the first game to come along to give it a run for it's money, even surpass it.
It is a necessary evil I'm afraid. I'd rather have to deal with a bit of hardware copy protection than to deal with a crapload of hacks during online gaming. Plus we also wouldn't have movie rentals if the DRM was easy to crack.
I was a hassle, but It's done and over with, so big woop.
I worked with my local game shop when I traded in my premium for an elite.
**edit** I didn't work FOR the game shop, I just meant that they accomodated my requests.
They let me keep the HDD until I Transfered data over.
I was going to wait for the transfer cable (which I later gave to the shop for future use), but instead I just borrowed one of their used memory cards and transfered saved games over one at a time.
The cons being that...
I keep seeing this similiar argument popping up almost constantly. However, I find it eroneous. You HAVE to include all CURRENT titles when comparing libraries. It's that simple. If someone just bought a 360 last week, do you not include GOW in that list?
If you look at the library as a whole it makes Sony's task of equalling (and maybe surpassing) the MS titles a daunting task to say the least.
Yeah if you look into the near future then yes, of course you wi...
Population of Denmark ~5 million.
Population of Los Angeles ~4 million
Yeah...sure sounds like the console war is now at a close.
This is retarded. What purpose does this POSSIBLY serve? Bragging rights. Why else post this as 360 related news?
The bias here is getting ridiculous. and I own all 3 systems. Bleah.
Ok, everyone can agree that the D-Pad on the PS1/2/3 is so vastly superior to the piece of crap dpad on the xbox controllers.

There is no argument there. Other than that, I think the Xbox controller is more comfortable. But...GOD that d-pad sucks so bad. Ever since MS released the Sidewinder for the PC many many...many...many moons ago they have been using this style of round directional pads, and for the love of all that is good and holy I can't figure out WHY.
