Some excerpts:
+The magazine gave the game a total score of 9.1, quoting that it's easily one of the most promising games to graze the modern JRPG world!
+Technical and artistic graphics are beautiful and rich!
+Influence ratio: 20% Layton, 40% Ghibli, 30% FF7
+A compelling story and deep, rewarding gameplay!
+Truth: Everyone should give this game a shot; it's worth it!
They can announce a new trailer for this any day, but please, don't show it in closed dome that cell phones are not allowed called 'Megatheatre'. If what you tease people about aren't for the masses to see, don't announce or even speak a word or two about it. Believe me, this close megatheatre thing is a thing of the past and should be trashed.
The only good things I like about this game are the battle system (but surprisingly, I got tired of it in the FFXIII-2 demo) and Leona Lewis' My Hands OST. The story was too convenient. The guy said it himself, they were fugitives on the run, so Square had an excuse not to include towns. Well in my book, fugitives can wear a disguise, and they do, to blend in a crowd. The story was also all too convenient because the l'cie/fal'cie "branding" already shoved the characters...
I remember the SH:Homecoming bug when you set your aiming preference to the one you like, and when you enter a door, the settings will revert back to the default ones! :( I hope we don't get that bug here.
Dude, voice out your opinion but do not bully certain people of specific body types in your comment just to get your message across. And for one, Dante is Dante. This what we have right here in DmC is what we call 'Edward', from a book somwhere.
They don't really need to do it open world just like GTA. They can, however, take the SH1 and SH2 approach. Where when you gain access to a part of the town, you can go to different streets at your own pace. I liked SH1 in this regard better since you were given the freedom to roam the streets at one time or two during the game, both in regular world and otherworld!
SH:Downpour's previews as of late last week have given it praises so far. I've seen Gamesradar'...
Bubbles for everyone! :D
Whatever works for Namco. Still the ad will draw attention, and I hope the game sells well so we can get another SC in the future.
On topic: Well it IS Japan after all. But look at Dead or Alive 5, they're starting to realize that misrepresenting women is no longer cool. If Japan doesn't think of a better marketing push, then it will be a double-edged sword for them in the long run.
Do you have a link somewhere. I wanna read! :D
Nah, I think you are referring to Dead or Alive 5, and about time too. I'm a man and I think misrepresenting women in video games should cease once and for all. At least Tekken has realistic breast sizes.
No surprise there, and all I want to do now is let out a big 'sigh'. Seriously, Square lost that magic - that magic they had when they released FF9 and FF10 (for me). I don't know, maybe I just grew up, and I might be different when I was younger than what I am now. Still, the fact remains that SE screwed up, and they admitted to this.
Case in point: Sorry, but I will not get this day one, unlike what I did when FF9 to FF13 (not FF11 and FF14, though) came out. <...
Dark Souls really deserves recognition. It is a classic game wrapped in the essence of modernity. I just want a proper Demon's Souls sequel. I miss world and character tendency.
Yes, that was what made this game irksome and a disappointment for some, if not many. When that trailer was launched, I was moved. The heartfelt execution of the trailer was melodramatic and worthy of the term 'classic'. But when the game came out, it was nothing like that.
No worries, as The Last of Us will be a game as emotional as the trailer of Dead Island conveys. At least Naughty Dog promises it to be!
I don't think online play can be dismissed altogether. I believe online play can implemented just like how it was implemented in Dark/Demon's Souls, where when connected to a server, you'll see souls moving about. In this game they can adapt the same mechanic by randomly generating items, enemies, etc., online, which you won't get when playing offline. Just a suggestion.
Oh my! I also played this game and really loved it! How I wish they put this on PSN, and I'll definitely buy it. The puzzles were one of the bests! I love this game!
You know what, if they are going to release an arcade version only of a Tekken game for a time, they should release a prologue version, too. Hmmm, not the one in the Tekken Hybrid bundle, but I am thinking a version that console owner can download for free, but the catch is only half of the roster is available. To accomodate all fans there should be two Tekken prologue version: nthe first one will give you the left half of the roster, and the other version the right half. The online component...
A mad cow is a cow infected by the mad cow disease; it is rabid and has gone crazy but is still alive, not dead, not a zombie cow. A fungus-infected (Cordyceps-infected) human is still alive but controlled against its will. Think about those ants being controlled to climb a tree before the fungus springs from their heads - alive but will be killed eventually when the fungus finally buds.
Just let them be Cold. If they hype it now and get disappointed in the end, its them who get disappointed. You can live your day without worrying about other people.
Now I am truly hyped up about this game, and I truly enjoy articles regarding. However, if I think that an article will contain something that I already read, I will skip it. To each his own.
The Last of Us graphics and UC3 graphics can never be compared since UC graphics lean towards comical color palette while TLoU's graphics are aiming for semi-realism. This means we can never compare them.
Day 1 for me!
