It's possible that this fungus is a characterization; a gameplay element which sees players affecting people's decision through verbal/physical communication. Makes sense if you ask me. Set that element in an environment where people are desperate (for survival over something) and you get yourself a good survival game plot.

If you've watched the video, you would know that SCV's character creation is even better. I can't believe that you can really make your characters very unique. Great job Namco! Now I hope online is also overhauled.

Patch for better co-op and PvP is good. As far as co-op play is concerned, I don't have much of a problem since 80% of the time I get summoned (my covenant is Way of the White). That said, From should be more lenient with the rules when engaging in online play, whether co-op or PvP. They should do it ala Demon's Souls. If there are multiple servers, maybe it's best for them to include an interface where you can choose your server when you start/restart the game.

The song is a much better FF song than My Hands for sure. The violin intro and ending is so Japanese/Asian. Love it!!!
This is so true. I can't even begin to imagine the uniqueness of every weapon in the game. The MP also features upgradeable weapons and skills. The mixing and matching rivals that of Killzone 2, if not better.
I know it can be removed. It's just that the addition of this feature is irksome for most fans.
In all honesty, I like the battle system. It's somewhat reminiscent to Xenosaga Episode 2's battle system. But in XS2, you can take all your time to strategize.
I know the auto-battle is there for those new to the series, since the battle can get hectic at times, but I would rather SE implement a different method than this.
FFXIII's story was convenient at best. Square-Enix had to think of a plot that would conveniently explain why these characters have to bond together (saving themselves instead of saving the world). While that is good, yeah, like I said, it's very convenient. Lazy even. There are some things that stood out in FF13, sadly it's not the story. The battle system could have been great had they only removed the auto-battle system.

I love Charice but I must admit, when I first heard this yesterday, yeah I listened to that same low-quality track, I didn't like it. But now I do. This is a grows-on-you kind of music. It's actually better than 'My Hands'.

One thing's for sure, at least the graphics are real HD now. SH: Homecoming had really outdated textures. I like what I saw, but I don't really feel the music from Korn in this game. Sorry.

I'm thinking that the enemies in this game will not actually be ants, but possible people infected acting like fungi-infected ants, and that the people infected behave like ants in a more human way. Listen to the audio clip added to the original ant teaser video, you can hear that clicking sound but sounded more like a rod being ran over iron grills or fence.
