I've heard and read of this from before. I believe it was after E3. Did they say it's going to be "12 NEW announcements" or just "12 announcements"?
The funny thing about that is they're not good in keeping promises. let alone being true to their words. I'm thinking, after the Fabula Nova Whatever subsides, they will make a remake, then after that on to FFXIV.
I believe letting the public be creative is a good way to market one's product. Take UT3 for example. Why would I play a game that has mod restrictions if the PC and the PS3 version don't? I guess MS is really in it for the profit.
SE is good at promises, but they don't keep them entirely. I wouldn't be surprised if FFVs13 will also go multiplat. For me, they can pretty much do what they want now. I learned that, in gaming, there's no such thing as keeping promises.
I wish the dialogue tree will trigger different cut scenes during the course of the game, trigger sub-missions and make appear rare or new monsters in the process.
And this game will be mine. It's a shame that this game doesn't have enough spotlight going on about it. I just hope that the game itself spans to over 15 hours at the normal difficulty at the least.
Make sure this game becomes only available for adults. However, with the high piracy rate there is, I doubt this will ever happen.

I guess this royalty fee is necessary because, if not, the retail value of the game with more than 2 discs will be higher, and consumers will have the greater burden in the end. I believe this is the case for Lost Odyssey to have the same price because MistWalker is bourne of MS, and that multidiscs for that game is shouldered by MS.
Not Shocking either. Anyway, it doesn't make sense that the screenshots are from the 360. However, the screenshots are CG so I guess it can be for both platforms. The wonder of money, truly a spectacle to behold.

You got to admit, Sony, currently ranked third, has a lot of things cooking up, has a lot of surprising things still yet to be revealed. In time, competition when it comes to quality gaming will be realized mostly by the PS3.
Don't you mean GoW? Well it has a very interesting story, great gameplay (yes, button sequences are much better than a Ninja being murdered by machine guns and rockets flying everywhere). NGS was good. It was my first game when I bought my PS3. But it was really lacking. A game coming from Japanese devs should have a story, and neither NGS nor NG2 have a story to tell.

Don't you think, given that SE is not in it for the money, it's only logical to have a more weaker game (FFVsXIII, sorry for some people if you don't consider this weaker but this is a spin-off and not the main bearer of the name FF) like FFVsXIII to be multiplat? Why? Well it needs to be bought by more people, that's why. FFXIII doesn't need to go multiplat, if, again, it's not about the money, because the Japs will go gaga over this, no questions asked.

Before, I was really an SE fan. Even when people got turned off by the Chrono Cross game, and lots of rants were thrown about, I didn't care. But now, I'm more focused on the gaming circle that I simply cannot ignore the kind of direction they're taking.

The PS3 has a much stronger line-up than the 360, as for now, that is. But if there is to be a game that can be named "the next big thing", I believe that game is a PS3 exclusive.

FFXIII may have been snatched away from Sony as an exclusive but there are tons of new games to be announced for the PS3, you'll wish MS would just launch the 720.

Well, they only indicated after the shocker 360 trailer during E3 that it will be released on the Xbox360 simultaneously for US and EU. It wasn't stated that both the localized PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of FFXIII for EU and US will be released simultaneously. I guess it was confusing, but there you go.

Well, consider the Philippines for example. I have a 5mbs download speed, with a sure 'green ping' technology. And roughly, I only pay 45 dollars a month. I never thought the united states is catching it's breath when it comes to dsl speed rates.
