It's good that breasts size in this game has been toned down significantly. At least now we know that Tomonobu Itagaki's departure from Team Ninja will bring is better representation of women in Dead or Alive series. I might actually pick this game up.
I'm loving the ambient sounds and silence in this game. Color me sold, even though I've always been an SH fan!
Sakaguchi has a point. If I had a Wii I would get The Last Story along with Xenoblade. However, I hope he doesn't rule out HD goodness in his future RPGs.
I'm actually more interested in Silent Hill: Downpour than RE6. I don't know, something about the subtlety in subquest introduction in SH:D draws me. I know Team Silent is no longer the dev team working on this, but so far the preview builds in videos I've seen impressed me.
Note that I've been an SH fan ever since the first one came out, so I could be a bit biased. However, I also considered myself an RE fan since RE1 until RE5 came along. I just hope RE6 del...
@Vile, I like FF9, but I also like FF10. Personally, I like FF9 more. There's no comparison between FF10 and FF12, though, since FF12 didn't have much coherence in the character-story development. Vaan and Penelo didn't have reason to fight. Ashe and Basche had a reason but it wasn't fleshed out really.
On topic: Well, I just hope they release this soon. Last thing we need is to hear SE say they delayed FFvs13 because of this FF10 remaster.
I like their banter exchange! Hahaha.
Ellie: So, uh, kill a lot of innocent people?
Joel: Just search the place.
Ellie: I'll take that as a 'yes'.
Jel: Take it however you want.
I'm thinking it will borrow the style Crysis 2 had with regard to exploration. Crysis 2 wasn't like Crysis 1 where it was completely open world. Crysis 2 gave you a map and you can explore it but still followed a linear path. I'm fine with this idea. I want more openness in this game.
I really hope that they don't show us lots of trailers or give us tons of info on this game. I want this game to be as a surprise as it can be. Go, ND!
Nah, I just thought of it myself. Pronounced as the number nine! Awesome!
Cool names:
Playstation Network - PSN
Xbox Live - XBL
Nintendo Netword - NiNe
I like NiNe!
I love this game. More PR please! This game needs the exposure it deserves.
I actually loved FFX-2. Sure the story was cutesy but at least the story came full circle towards the end, and we were not given a 'to be continued' message after the ending.
This is indeed great news. I bought ModNation day 1 so I hope I would like their next game as much as I loved MNR. If it's going to be MNR2, I'd still buy it day one!
Sorry for the double post.
I agree on your defense. However, the inclusion of 2 other mimics and 2 other Sophitia clones could have been used for 1-2 new characters, or other game-related aesthetics. Plus, you can't take away the fact that these inclusions will have a negative effect on SC's reputation, whether they were pressured to deliver the game in a forced and rushed manner or not.
Instead of pouring out time and money (if ever this is the case, and that these additonal contents aren't already on the disc) on DLCs, why not spend time and money on bringing all the characters back? Seriously, we lost Zasalamel, Setsuka, Talim, and Yun-seong, but we're getting 3 mimics (Edge Master, Kilik, Elysium), and 3 Sophitia clones (Patroklos, Pyrrha, and Pyrrha Omega)!
I call the latter either lame and lazy, or, simply put, Team Soul has lost its drive and f...
Too bad, Talim is no longer part of Soul Calibur 5. Instead we get three mimics: Edgemaster, Elysium, Kilik.
To be honest, I was hoping that RE6 would be a reboot of sorts. I saw too many things going for RE6 in the trailer, but I have this notion that more is not always better. There were just too many things happening in the trailer - convoluted is the word - that made me feel uneasy more so than excited.
Capcom, in the next installment, please REboot the franchise. Have a different protagonist, someone that we never knew before. Give more soul to the game lore and not just shove ...
No release date set yet, but Level 5 confirmed it's a 2012 Q1 release. We can bet before April we'll get this gem!
The ad was spot on. It showed how normal lives can be transformed to different realms found in games. I thought the advertisement was well crafted; intelligently done. Now I know most of you here would rather see a montage of games on Vita, and although that is always a good thing, I think Sony will soon do something about that.
I loved the ad!!! great job, Sony!
