Studio Ghibli is possibly being too careful about the English voices here, since their animations like Spirited Away sport awesome English voice acting. It's possible this is the case.
If they do this, customers who like spending less will resort to waiting for a couple months just for game prices to drop; and we all know 1 month is enough for game prices to drop.
I wonder now that Wii-U is opting for HD (finally!) if the devs, mostly JRPG devs, will be disheartened by the fact that they can no longer resort to SD graphics. I know most games, like Xenoblade, will take too long a dev time to complete if it were to be made in full HD. This also gives us the conclusion that Wii-U's move towards HD graphics will either leave SD-only games to jump in the HD bandwagon, or abandon the three HD consoles completely and just settle for the handhelds.

Ha? GoW has the best narrative in an action game. Maybe you are referring to Bayonetta? The original GoW told a story so crisp, I felt the whole world was one cohesive plane; like every area is connected even though they are chopped up into segments. The story development was also full of cohesion. Yeah, you might be talking about Bayonetta.
^This. Sony's marketing researchers are doing their jobs right. They now know that E3 isn't the only place for bigger announcements. Yeah, if you've been slapping the competition with new games left and right, who needs relying on just one gaming convention? The answer is obvious: Sony is on a roll; this gives them subtle prerogative to go ahead and announce games whenever they want.
I have nothing against Nintendo or the Wii U for that matter, but I doubt an HD console from Nintendo will upstage the PS3 or the 360 since these two consoles were HD to begin with. And I believe Nintendo is about 4-5 years a bit too late in the HD era. However, the Wii U is most welcome. I for one can't wait to see Zelda and Mario in HD.
By the time Nintendo is lavishing in its HD glory, the PS3 and the 360 have already released new consoles.

Drakerider sounds pretty much like a new Drakengard game. There's just this 50% chance that it's indeed Drakengard.
They are going to 'include' 3rd party characters, not promote them. And we've only seen 6 of the character roster, so you can't judge the game yet when it comes to 1st party character variety. I believe Sony has realized that E3 isn't the only channel for game announcements; they probably realized that internet media can deliver hype as much as TV media does. Make no mistake: I would still love to see new games announced at gaming conventions like E3. It's just that this trend from Sony is working.
Uhm, I won't list all the exclusives on the PS3 in the past, at present, and in the future, so I can avoid sounding like a Sony PR. But I would prefer these tons of exclusives than 'better' framerates; you see those abysmal framerates in 3rd party games is the thing of the past, and they were too few to mention. For me, the 360 has been lacking and the PS3 has been consistent with a slew of great games and promising new IPs, not to mention, risk-taking IPs that really payed off.
If It's I3, I would love to have the mission editor come back, and a competetive multiplayer mode.

The only minor gripes I have with KZ3 are: the exclusion of Clan system; the inability to see a list of available matches that can be joined in; the removal of hybriding of skills from two different classes.
