Good thing I never bought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare back in 2007; if I did, I would've bought subsequent games in the series. Still, I bought AC and AC2 but not the Brotherhood and Revelations title, so I'm pretty sure I could quit CoD even if I bought the CoD:WF in 2007.

Or they can have a Zelda/FF approach with GoW. If this is the case, then Kratos can have different games independent of timeline. Pretty similar to how FF, Zelda, and Mario ignore timelines and canon.

What timeline would this fall under, I wonder. Still, I'm very happy there's a new tale for Kratos. It's possible that it's a reboot of sort, like a separate/alternate universe.

Maybe, this time, he'll fight off anyone who will stand in his way to revive (Phoenix Rebirth) all the gods he had slain.

Eww. Hahahahaha!

This game is really a big cake made with care and love! I don't want to take a slice off of that cake, I want all of it!!!

My friend jokingly responded to my question (Have you played FFXIII-2?) with "I'm sorry, did you say, "FFDLC-XIII-too?"

It looks like V for Vendetta the game.

Not sounding bitter or hateful or anything, but this game has really succumbed to DLCs. Good things is I haven't bought the game yet, so if there's going to be a more complete version, I'd get that instead.

I will buy this game and support the devs. I missed Warhawk, so it's only right to buy this instead. I like the subtle touches like the recoil of the guns, and the strength of the impact of the buildings you build!

Ninja Theory isn't the owner of the Heavenly Sword IP, Sony is. This means Sony can give it to other devs, 1st party devs most likely, to create HS2. Personally, with the rant-ish behavior of Ninja Theory, with all the bad-mouthing and arrogance, I would rather have Sony Santa Monica do this. If it isn't possible, give it to GG, or any other 1st Party Sony dev that would make this game humbly.

He didn't like the game's gameplay? Tales of games, and most especially this one, always have the best battle mechanics. After reading most of his negative comments, I knew either he's not a JRPG fan in general, or he hasn't played the game.

@sinncross, I would have to disagree with you there. Although Kratos got his revenge, he never really got to redeem anything, except maybe for Hope in the form of Pandora; in the end, he only felt worse (revolving around the notion that 'vengeance is futile').

I personally believe Kratos in the next installment will embark on a new quest, concerning real redemption. How SM can pull this off is kind of hazy for me right now, but I believe in the devs creativity.

If this is going to be another GoW, and not really part 4 to the first 3 since it can have a different arc past his revenge, I am thinking this will be all about Redemption! And in his path to redemption, he will murder whoever stands in his way.

^I think redemption is a good plot this time. He can battle with mythical creatures, moreso than what he had in the previous installments.

Very well deserved, Tales of Graces f! This game has a lot to offer, and i can't understand why it's really not getting many better reviews like this one. Seriously, you have tons to collect and do in this game. I can easily give it 9/10!

I hope they make a dark, almost noir and dreary-like Tales game, and name it 'Tales of Realia'

I believe now's the perfect time to buy the Fortune Hunter's Club DLC. I also hope they add more to the powerplay feature and add two or three more paid boosters. Love this game!

I can't wait for this game too! 2012 is the year of the JRPG!

This game is awesome in many ways: The battle is superb; pacing is just right; conversations are funny; and the story, though cliched, is enough to keep you interested. Yup, this is a 9 out of 10 in my book. Next up, Tales of Xillia!

If they do not release these types of games stateside, they are only helping the extinction of JRPGs in the west. The kids these days need JRPGS and the like, and not the war-games like CoD games that their parents allow them to play (I cringe at the thought). When I was a kid, I always found JRPGs as a primer towards knowing your self worth, knowing worth of friendship, and taking care/protecting the world.

With the saturation of FPS and post-apocalyptic war-games, I can...
