MH4 for the Wii U might have a bigger impact than MH4 for the 3DS, in my own opinion. I know what's going on here: Devs are too scared to venture into the HD world when it comes to JRPGs because they need more time, let's say to make a world map in HD. So what they do is they squeeze themselves in a console/handheld that isn't capable of HD graphics so they can re-live the late 90s to early 2000, sell and get away with it.
Now that the Wii-U will showcase HD gr...
This game should've been a great title. However, though the art style was good, the technical visuals weren't. Seriously, they're jaggies everywhere. Add to the list the half-baked platforming (why in the world can he only jump when there is a gap to cross, is beyond me).
Bad Romance - Lady Gaga! Hahahahaha!!!
I've never seen a girl stealth troll. But now I know what a Blatant Woman Troll looks like. And goody, I even got her name!
Seriously, this Morgan woman may be hot but she talks like a hardcore troll.
They are boasting more puzzles and some form of side-questing in ths game. However, one can't help but wonder why they haven't shown a good example of a puzzle sequence and side-questing when the game is already nearing its release.
I admit, I will still play XIII-2. However, the manner of my owning it will not longer be first hand. Go figure. SE dropped the ball with FF13. For the record, it's the only FF game that I bought then sold right after finishing it. I'm as amazed as most of you guys here regarding the sequel for FF13 being developed, since it wasn't really a fan hit.
You see SE learned that reusing the same game engine is more economical than tweaking/creating a new one for futur...
I'm sorry, xabmol, but what is the connection between RPGs and VF5?
@Dan, wrestling games are way different from these technical fighting games like VF and Tekken. Last time I played VF was way back in 2007 and it was very good.
On topic: I'd rather have them announce VF6 than this. I'd give this a try, though.
Why can't Sega just make A part 6 to this? Just thinking aloud.
The iPad is seemingly an excuse for a gaming platform, since Apple knows that if they just release a mobile gaming gadget without the added functions - browser, apps, etc. - people won't buy them since they'll just turn to the DS or the PSV/PSP. Not to mention, a mobile gaming dagdet with a high price tag.
Wow, I asked a question and I got 6 disagrees?
Will both games be on one disc, or will they be sold separately?
Maria/Mary's voice got to deep in my opinion. For Maria, the sultry, deep voice works. For Mary, not so much. I guess they couldn't have different voice actors for each since Mary and Maria are... (no spoilers).
Eddie's voice is good. However, the playful, childish voice was better.
I'm excited to see this game. The PS3 is really in need of RPG exclusives. The console beast already has many exclusives from different genres, so why not a real RPG? I'm also excited to hear SCEE devs to announce their next games. Also, Quantic Dream, please show us 5ive!
This is just awesome. Sony's move is very mature. Sony's business practice is so way ahead of the competition that you can't even begin to wonder how they are doing it. I know people here are so into sales, but you should consider Sony's current position. It's still at number 3 (but racing towards second place in this generation) and yet they keep on innovating and making sure that people are satisfied with diverse games!
Good thing I never got into the CoD series ever. But seriously speaking, I think the CoD devs should branch out and test their mettle on something far beyond the FPS horizon. I know the FPS template is the most convenient to use, but come on!
Don't you guys think that they should've changed the name from Soul Calibur to Soul (insert second word here)? Pretty much like the change from Soul Edge to Soul Calibur, it would have been better if they did this if they want to remove and replace most of the characters. Just a thought.
'ND evolves as their core fans grow'-- I believe I read this somewhere as stated ny an ND representative in the past. By this logic, we can assume that the next franchise that ND could work on just might be a very mature game. Let's say something along the lines of survival horror games. Who knows?
If I were Sony, I would create an internal studio that can develop JRPGs similar to that of the FF series. This way, we no longer need to worry about subpar FF anymore.
GTA4 and RDR are complete different games when compared to each other; how much more if you compare the two with I2? I2 has mechanics that work for a superhero game. Rockstar sandbox games have mechanics that work in urban environments too. Come on, guys. Why would anyone assume Cole should ride a car to roam around a city, or kill animals within his surroundings?
Is this both for PS3 and Vita? Sorry, I'm a conjunction whore! Anyway, I'd get this day one for the PS3 or Vita since I ultimately love FFX!!!
