I'm more interested to see the back of the box art to see what it says about hard drive size requirement because that tells me if I need to download another huge install patch.
Whatever art in front of the box doesn't really matter because if I don't like it, I can always print my custom design.
Obviously Sony can't glue the hard drive inside the console. My guess with 16GB HDD model is for those who wants to buy the largest HDD available. Why force them to buy 500GB model if they will replace the default hard drive anyway?

"Ugly" is all up to the buyers. If someone never seen the original "plat" PS3 or slim up to model 3000, they wouldn't have much care. Remember, if a person still hasn't bought a PS3 by now because PS3 is still too expensive, how the console look by the time it gets to $200 is the least important.

Remember, Wii U is coming out in PS3/X360 gen. Most developers will not go much further than PS3/X360 design. Remember all the arguments about who's more powerful between PS3 and X360? Look at the games, 99.5% alike. The only good thing about Wii U is finally able to run like PS3/X360 graphics with additional screen controller if the developer makes use of it.

It has been years since I played both ZOE games on PS2 (still have the discs) but the video here is from the opening of ZOE 2. If I remember right, ZOE 1 also didn't very well and ZOE 2 was almost like a "reboot" of ZOE 1 but ZOE 2 story already started further which requires a long trailer to bring the players up to date.
Because the games played very different from all the mech games you have seen, it's takes quite a bit of education to get yourself ready....

Why are trophies so important to show the game is good or worth replay? I'm one of those who bought a PS3 at the launch and I enjoyed many of the early games before the trophies support. FF always have fancy CGI cutscenes, and I wouldn't be surprised if Square is wasting too much of the development time in making very pretty CGI cutscenes.
Remember most of the FF vs XIII gameplay are still hyped except the little that released 2-3 years ago. Reality is we have no idea how the actual gameplay is like except assumed by gamers.

That's what I have been saying all along. All Square has shown Vs XIII are cutscenes and a small gameplay from long time ago. Really, we know nothing about how Vs XIII will play when it does come out.
Somehow FF fans think Vs XIII will "fix" everything with no proof.
Those renamed devices could mean Sony could adding more virtual or emulated devices. For example, "eject disc" refers to eject a physical disc. But "remove disc" means remove either physical disc or mounted disc image (which can't by physically ejected).
I like FF XIII because of its linear structure and plays like an anime. Other games including XIII-2 call themselves non-linear but really you are still required to solve certain puzzles or find something before you can continue. The only difference is you can travel to different locations to do your tasks a little here and there. Eventually, you still need to complete each task on each location before you are allowed to progress in the story. It's just an illusion that it's not linea...
The real ending for future DLCs is the "red" destroy the reapers for the future DLC with Shepard. It hinted Shepard could be alive at the very end.

For many of you that commented the illogical reason to sell 16GB hard drive model, the model is for those who prefers to upgrade the hard drive immediately and compete with 16GB X360 model. That's the model that Sony hasn't been able to compete.
It always amazing so many readers read the model specs without thinking about X360 model competitions. Stop thinking about yourself only.
But there is a catch with 16GB PS3. On X360, no game require hard drive...
