Not that I like having to divide MS Points/80 to know the actual value, but do all of us like to buy MS Points card at discount at any time?
Answer that first before saying it's good Microsoft maybe dropping the MS Points to use actual currency.
If you answer is yes than once the MS Points card becomes actual currency, don't complain if you don't see any MS currency card discount as often anymore.
Don't believe me, look at PSN...

What is puzzling is Capcom introduced a new IP called Operation Racoon City that is all about multiplayer shooter.
But they also continue to the make the traditional RE series a shooter.
They should return RE6 back to the traditional survival horror game and have Op. Racoon City as the shooter series. I'm okay with RE5 used as a testbed to see if there's a good demand for shooter.
If 6-player is in story campaign, it will be a chaos trying to keep everyone nearby all the time. And all the 6 characters that can be co-op most be together in the story campaign or someone in the co-op team will loose control over the character in parts of the story.
If 6-player co-op is more likely to be on non-story or standalone mini story co-op mode.
Microsoft got better on releasing major updates between 3-6 months. And mini updates in between for fixing bugs. Sony has less structure in how they release PS3 firmware update from a new small bugs fixed to a lot of updates and updates that has nothing to do with PS3 only gamers. To Sony, update is an update, you just have to update your PS3 firmware with a few firmware exceptions.
As for download speed, that depends if you are downloading the entire firmware or changes only...
Firmware 4.00 was only released a month ago sometime in December.
What I don't like about LA Noire once the suspects run, most of the time, the only solution is chase and kill the suspect. The random street cases almost all ended in killing the suspect? Why is that?
As for the main cases, I found if you asked all the questions incorrectly, at the end, the person will tell you what you need to know anyway. Why is that?
If you failed every suspect interrogation, doesn't really matter. On certain cases, the suspect wil...
The reviewer said he couldn't find the TV tuner input. Was he given the screen or he blindly bought it without checking what the screen spec?
RE6 trailer looks like action adventure again like RE5. Tons of heavy shooting.
So, if you didn't RE5 lack of horror but mostly action, you probably will not like RE6 because it's going be mostly the same.
You need to remember coming to marketing, they will say anything as an "excuse" to sell a hardware. It does not matter how ridiculous the excuse reason sounds. All it matters is the excuse sounds good as the reason to sell the hardware. (I still find it's amazing so many buyers still believe what marketing says to heart. Really that's good thing or marketing lies will fail.)
Have you also read the developer or publisher said the game wouldn't fit onto on...
When the demo comes out, we'll see. Unless Kinect voice command really works, I'll probably get ME3 on PS3.
I love executing 3 characters attacks at the same time because any enemies that are still alive can easily be finished off with a few shots. The advantage of freezing the screen before executing the commands is look at the condition, plan ie. type of enemy, what shield does it have and best attack to take it down and execute the commands to attack. It's more...
Those who disagree, do you think voice command can do it as quick as my example with controller?
The common issue with voice command is always giving commands too quickly one after another and not able to speak each command clearly.
Using Kinect for its general voice commands, it doesn't work very well if I do that.
Watching voice commands using Kinect, every demo show the player does not giving voice command too quickly.
On games, when the battle heats up, you often issue commands on the controller quickly one after another. Example...
That's the problem with many sequels going. Developer/publisher seem to think unless the sequel becoming a heavy shooting game, the game can't sell.
The question if Live is hacked, how many gamers rather deal with potential getting hacked with Live running than have Live shut down for weeks like PSN?
And for Microsoft to admit Live is hacked isn't going to be good in front of the media.
Keep defending to overlook the bugs is just saying go ahead and ship broken games. Even you didn't see the bugs others described, can you guarantee that the next player will not see the bugs. That's how bugs are, not everyone gets consistent experience. If you are lucky, you get a better experience than the next gamer.
Why can't the publisher print on the game box a warning that the game is buggy and just overlook them because the rest are amazing. Of course that ...
Didn't play any of them. I was curious about Dead Island but after reading the game is/was too buggy, I didn't bother.
But for zombie lovers, it doesn't matter how bad Dead Island is as long there are zombies.
Someone who disagree must have thought PS3 version isn't easy?
Hopefully NG3 is more balanced in difficulty. Cutting NGS2 boss shorter often kept incomplete like the battle ended part way because it is.
If you want to play a tougher Ninja Gaiden 2, play X360 version. Several tough boss fight in NG2 Sigma got cut short or made easier.
That's if you find NG2 Sigma too easy on PS3.
That means the story really ended with XIII and Square is just making excuses to make a XIII-2. To me a good story is more important than the gameplay. Time travel is the lamest excuse to justify a sequel.
I'm a fan of XIII but the more I read about XIII-2 bad story, the less I'm interested. I don't care how good the gameplay is with a good story.
I also read XIII-2 is open ending for potential more sequels. Way a way to continue milking XIII.
Glad to see someone understands the reason to have MS Points, often sold at discount since MS Points card has no $ printed on it.
I even saw a local store trying to sell MS Points card at higher value but I don't think they were able to cheat too many customers on it.
