Hopefully Yakuza 5 will be uncut when it's translated for western market. Even the gameplay in the previous Yakuza was very outdated, the characters models were still very nicely done. The story is interesting if you like Yakuza family conflicts. It's a very eastern and Japanese theme.

C&C5 was never the same without FMV. I played just about every C&C and RA until they stopped using FMV.

I love watching some of the actors did their acting before they became more famous. Having live actors just make the game feel real like they are talking to you than some CGI character.

Haven't Nintendo already done with the ability to give a digital download game that you own and change the ownership to someone else?

Of course, such system doesn't exist on PS3 or X360.

Is the original Most Wanted story still there? The original Most Wanted and Carbon were the few that had story where you got framed at the end of Most Wanted and had to escape. In Carbon, you can back to city to figure out who that framed you and taking revenge. The reason it worked was the characters are real actors made the games more alive even the acting were cheesy. One of the actors have gone to bigger TV series like Battlestar Galactica.

Clue: He's the main bad guy...

The movie only has about 2 hours to tell the story. That means very tight plots or no story.

Even with the main crews. Half will be under used since Shepard has to take most of the time with a few crew mates. Everyone else just going for the ride. Between Ashley and Kaiden, it has to be Ashley because Shepard will probably be male.

But the movie version could be 100% different from the game with an idiot Shepard and who knows what equally dumb crews.

Why not call the retail version "Sampler" or "Starter Game"? Isn't what the retail games have become, the game engine, enough sample to see how the game plays, and the rest, DLCs.

How do you know Vs XIII wouldn't be anything like XIII? All Square showed is a small gameplay made over 2 years ago. Right now, we are assuming Vs XIII will be very different from XIII from pure guesses.

It's always about money. Will Valkyria Chronicles sell more to new gamers if trophies are added?

I have both games and never care and still don't care if they have trophies. Why? I often found when a game doesn't have trophy, I play it based on my style. When there are trophies, sometimes they influence me to play the games in certain way that unlock the trophies.

Why are trophies that important anyway? I found the only real use of trophies are ti...

Still interesting if the Metal Gear Online is still in the menu. If so, it's like re-releasing the new edition with a feature that is already dead.

True, but getting DLCs locked to your account also is the way to keep Collector's Edition.

While dual-display output has been around on the PC for more than a decade, Apple is the first to make it standard.

I'm very curious how the fixed screen resolution app look on the Retina display. I was at Compusa store but they wouldn't let me get deep into the controls. Even at Display setting, it doesn't show me the actual resolution the screen is running at.

Second is running older app that has fixed resolution that doesn't work with dual-...

One question that I never see anyone asked. What if FF uses in-game engine for cutscenes? I understand some fans buy FF because of the high quality pre-rendered cutscenes.

If Square can take out all the expensive and slow to make high quality cutscenes and replace them with in-game cutscenes like in FF XIII-2, how much time will it save the game development time?

FF XIII-2 has the shortest development time. Yes, it's short, reuse of the same voice actors,...

How do collector's collect "Collector's Edition" or regular edition on today's games that have online activation code? If you keep the online activation code unactivated, it will expire later. But if you do activate the code, the DLC is locked to one account owner. So, you can't resell or pass along any of your DLCs from the game.

I really hope this one takes longer to complete.

Does Australia gov monitor their local gamers playing illegal or banned games on the network?

Why do gamers pre-order any games today unless you have way too much money to burn or have no sense of waiting?

I understand any game publishers today need as many pre-orders as possible to know minimum sales they can make.

The good and bad about Assassin's Creed series is you already know plenty about the gameplay will be like. Because of that, is any Assassin's Creed worth pre-ordering? Again if you are the type of my description above, all you care...

If Ouya came out 30 years ago, maybe they have better chance. No chance today except for dreamers.

One practice Ouya does that will prevent big game publishers from getting near is letting the gamers modify the console. Sure we all hate copy protection but which big publishers will be willing to release their games without any security?

Even on the PC, if you remove the copy protection, that along makes "owning" the game illegal.

There is no need for us to have a heart attack over what Nintendo said about PS3/next Xbox over Wii U. We all know Nintendo has no clue what real horse power means. Simple prove is if Nintendo understands what real horse power means, they wouldn't have built Wii U as last gen tech. They even try to hide Wii U horse power just as another prove. Remember, Nintendo will say anything they want even lying to get Wii U out as popular as they can before PS4/next Xbox come out. (Remember in busin...

Whatever. I think many of us can agree that Square has gone beyond milking FF XIII for money. With them unable release Vs XIII or other new FF, what can they do to stay alive? Keep releasing more XIII sequels. I'm one of the few who love XIII but with XIII-2, Square is doing it just to milk money to stay alive. Then, they said no XIII-3 until a few days ago. XIII-3 will be coming out to further milk for more money.

Since Square is unable (or unwilling) to release anything...

Everyone knows Nintendo is behind in many of the PS3/X360 standard features. Remember, no matter how much Nintendo wants to be up to date, it takes time to make each happen. Since Nintendo is in business, they can't always say no even it's what they are doing. Nintendo fanboys will not want to hear Nintendo is still missing from of the critical features that PS3/X360 have for years. So giving them a vaporware promises is better than say no.

That's simple the commo...
