They don't, my wife plays it and likes it no problems.
Not open world? W..t..f.. Well that's one opportunity to make the game slightly more engaging, missed.
Another cheap attempt at making quick buck of zombies, aahhh yeahh! No.
I gave up on the game very long time ago, got tired of dying behind cover, and have bunch of my bullets not register on enemies, all with good ping. Also the visual clutter of dust, glare and hard contrast gets annoying really bad after sometime.
I was pretty excited in the beginning, then little bit past half way, I just quit and uninstalled it. I actually got bored out of my mind with it long before it, but I was hoping something will happen that will make the game exciting, but then I just gave up.
Also judging from Crysis3 videos, it probably will not be any better imo
FarCry 1 was great, FarCry 2 sucked, FarCry 3 seems to be okay, but it really should have been named something else. They should have just started new franchise with last two games, while also continuing with story of FarCry 1.
How about making a proper continued story for the FarCry1? You know, the game that started this all and that was fking awesome, except every other FarCry game after that had absolutely nothing to do with the first FarCry game other than just stealing its name for sales?
Man I loved Elite games, those were great fun many many years ago. That brought back some good memories *sheds a tier*...
Played it for about 8 hours, got bored out of my mind, just A LOT of mediocrity and bugs, and that's after I bought it year later after release and installed crap load of mods that improved and fixed bunch of things. Still wasn't impressed.
I am pretty sure the devs just ripped of the images themselves, because from sound of it, they are too cheap to hire anyone to do work for them. Its not normal game developers, its just bunch of pricks who know how to code, who decided to make a quick buck by putting bare minimum into their "game".
Just a dumb move, that's all.
About damn time! Its funny, I just signed petition for it to be pulled off steam, on the steam forums today too. I guess Valve takes my vote seriously haha
Ahhh John Carmack.... yeah I stopped taking him seriously a while ago.
Nobody is working on STALKER 2, its dead. The company that use to work on it is making their own game, Survirium, which is MMOFPS.
As sucky as it is, STALKER seems to be dead.
Because cutting content is natural thing in pretty much any industry. They have to cut things to make over all game better. Its the whole Quality over Quantity deal.
Is it just me or a lot of the games on the list are actually pretty mediocre? (Seems like author just picked top releases and put them on a list, well thank you very much for that, I heard a lot of about them all when they were released. Other then resistance games, which are actually pretty good).
Because its just a mediocre game that has been over hyped... If you are not into loot games where you switch your weapons every few minutes, then there is nothing else that would stand out for you. Mediocre game is mediocre, its neither bad nor good.
'Consoles aren't going away any time soon'
No joke... I bet he has done endless nights of research to come up with that conclusion! Thank you for sharing, we would never guess that.
Fighting game... yeah not even close to AI in say a shooting game, that suppose to navigate around map layout, and make decision based on all the obstacles around them and between the target etc.
Minecraft sold an idea, an idea of exploration and building, which is great, because now other people can take it and implement it in their games. Otherwise by itself minecraft was pretty mediocre game, if not less, too static and too simple because they just didn't want to put effort into something little more complex, in both mechanics and visuals, which is fine for an indie game that is just trying to take off, but once it got enough support, they should have just improved everything, ...
