Section 8 were pretty good games, but it seems like devs just didn't listen to the community much. Their first mistake was to host the PC game through Microsoft Live, what a dumb ass move, that pretty much killed the game right there.
Also the crap where you auto lock on people for few seconds. Yeah stuff like that is not cool in computer games, it game nothing to the gameplay.
Good games, but just dumb decisions on the part of the devs got the games kill...

Ummm lets just wait and see. Bf3 had its problems, and with EA talking about micro transactions in every new game, I would not holding too much hope for BF4 atm.
Return To Castle Wolfenstein, still one of the best FPS games ever made.

In my entire life, I never really thought MMORTS were anything big. I follow variety of games pretty close, and MMORTS never really come up on any major radars. Its just not a very attractive idea.
Frankly I don't care who decides what becomes canon, for me its what makes the most sense and goes alone with the story. If something makes no sense whatsoever, Fox can call it canon all day long, I just wouldn't give a damn. Just like future developers shouldn't either. If someone out there can make a better game that would change existent canon for better, then I would fully support them and not care much about previous garbage created by people who just didn't care.
Have the guy even watched his own video? You can't barely hear his voice over the sounds and music of the gameplay.
I can't face palm hard enough at people like you. The responsibility of creating that game was given to Gearbox, how they went about that is their business, but at the end of the day, they were responsible for the final product. Its Gearbox fault for outsourcing development to some crappy studios, and it was their fault to say that the content they got back from those studios was okay to put into the final game.
That's funny, I just played 2010 AvP with few of my buddies other day, it was MUCH more fun then A:CM, with all of its problem, we had so much fun its crazy. Not to mention that 2010 AvP actually got fixed up pretty good right before SEGA told Rebelion to not touch it anymore. A:CM is just complete 100% failure in every aspect of the game, I would expect to see crap load of patches before it would get to level of at least okay game.
Because everyone in UK is just stupid or something... Either way, goof for them, I am pretty sure the game didn't do so hot if you consider sales all over the world.

Oh it will come to PC someday, probably as POS port, but it will be on PC...
Been asking for bots and LAN mode for BF3 loooooong before its release. Best reply from community manager at the time was, that no one plays LAN anymore.
Its like yeah, no one plays LAN with bots anymore because you don't add those features in your games anymore.
