If you follow Doom4, you will know that the game really hasn't been in development, they toasted the idea around, they had few people working on things here and there, but there were never full team working on the game full time, and seems like they are still just getting shit together. It will be A WHILE before its done, and if it won't take a while, well then I don't think it will be a good game.
Just can't have big maps with multiple flags like in good old 1942? This one flag deal gonna get boring really quick, just single area for vehicle cluster fk action, I don't see it been exciting more than just few rounds maybe.

I feel Antonov, it's one thing to work for a big and successful company, but its another thing to be stagnated as an artists with nothing much to do.

BC2 served its purpose, it wasn't suppose to have prone, jets, and maps were not that bad, all because it was BAD COMPANY, it was different take on battlefield and you have nothing to bitch about it because you can see the name on the cover.
Also rush sucks ass, but you know, you don't have to play it...
It was a console spin off, but somehow I feel it worked pretty well on PC for what it was.
Great game? I don't know how old you are, and what your experience in gaming is, but BF3 is so far away from been a great game, its sad.

So much time passed.... I don't even know if I can be excited for HL3 anymore. If they will still gonna release it someday, it better be freaking awesome and deliver on the full scale, because that's what everyone expects. That is probably one of the main reasons why they don't make it, because they are afraid not to deliver and get bashed for making mediocre shooter game.
As long as they will get rid of that Facebookbattlelog junk, there might be a slight chance that I will get BF4, someday on sale... But we will see.
Yeah BF4 will be for the next gen, no joke, because there is no way they can make BF4 on current generation consoles without making it any different from BF3. They might get away with Bad Company 3, but it seems like they don't care about Bad company for now.
huh you must have been out of the loop, because DICE admitted that they lied about PC been lead platform. They publicly said that they made consoles as lead platform in the middle of the development. Also if you have ever played BF3 on PC you would realize that its kinda shit and by far doesn't look like it was made with PC as lead platform in mind.
They can make Bad Company 3 and do whatever the hell they want with it, as it actually started as console franchise, but they yet to...
