That is very clever Easter egg. *slow clap*
What the hell is going on, you ask? They made a very pretty but super generic, unimaginative shooter game, very similar to Halo which the only game that they really known by.
Anyone is surprised?
Team Fortress 2 is not an MMO. MMO in the games refers to player count per world/map/shard etc, basically amount of players that can play together at the same time, in which cases its usually at least couple/few hundred and goes up to thousands.
Team Fortress 2 is just a awesome free to play shooter game, but it doesn't belong to this list as player limit per game can be counted in dozens.
Hey don't you talk shit about AngryJoe now.
So Last Stand, the last DLC for Battlefield 4, is actually a prequel to the beginning of Battlefield 2142, which was released 8 years ago. Very nice touch DICE.
Although its all probably a clever tactics to keep players going to futuristic CoD:AW ;)
Played the game for whole 24.....minutes *trololo*
Futuristic BF4? Got to compete with dat new Call of Duty somehow. Am I right?
Are you fking kidding me? You must be the most naive child living under a rock with your head stuck in the ground.
Mods in skyrim are good for making awesome static pictures. One you get into the game and see game's AI derping out while slide around and glitching because animation is shit, you will realize that Just because someone can make pretty over edited static screenshots, doesn't mean the game is any better than what you remember it to be.
There is a problem with people who play every release of a specific game. They settle into mentality that they have to play every release of that game. They simply don't care if new game is good or bad, because its a new release of a game that they have played for years and therefore they will still play it.
Compared to people who are no attached to a specific game so much, so if new release happen to suck, they see that it sucks and simply go play different game, instead...
This ^
I guess it was funny little attempt by devs to just troll people for fun for couple days before pirates find a way to bypass that stuff, like they always do.
The game hasn't been released yet. Already plans to make it a cash cow.
I don't think AI in games has improved that much AT ALL. I yet to see a single game where AI acts better than it did in Crysis 1, where they could navigate in complex terrain, take cover behind objects, and run away if they had to
That's for FPS game where AI is a huge factor in direct gameplay, RPGs can probably get away with more things when it comes to AI, and hence it pretty much haven't progressed from basic path-finding, to direct attack with X ability based...

I have played their very early betas long long time ago, and seems like the game haven't progressed that much in so many years.
Maybe if it was mmo, or some other big project, it would make sense, but if you look at it, its really pretty basic, generic shooter. It should have been completed with full campaign like three years ago.
I am not sure if devs are not working full time on the game, or they are just very very slow at their ...
Neither, both are boring as heck.
So I guess you do the same as everyone else? Because its actually great fun to go around knifing those "pro snipers", or C4ing artillery camper.
Its all about your personal objectives and goals in the game. If you chose to play the most boring way and then bitch and complain about it, every game will end up been boring for you.
Considering the game was a disaster when it came out, this should be no surprise. PC community is simply fed up with EA pushing release of games in beta state.
Exclusives, the "go to" console fan argument. Sad thing is, PC beats consoles even there heh
Looks like crap imo.
Yeah you can do that in 1st person, its called moving your mouse left and right to look around.
