What are you talking about? The title indicates that the Sony has now sold more PS4's than N has Wii U's...in a fraction of the time.
Why is that fact 'trolly'? People are starting to confuse me. As far as gaming news it is VERY noteworthy that the successor to the Wii (last gen's best selling console)has been outsold in 6 weeks by a newly launched console after over a year on the market.

Playing for 5 minutes at a show is not play testing. The negativity regarding speculation on this game is just as legitimate/illegitimate as the postive speculation. This game has A LOT to prove.

Making money is one thing...ruining a game with microtransactions and pay-to-win is another. If this game was full retail, I guarantee you I'd have it pre-ordered as we speak. That's $60 I'm willing to give them, right now. So clearly, I don't have a problem with them making a buck.
I do have a problem with them being willing to put off 49 real gamers for every 1 "whale" that is willing to waste $10,000 on F2P IAPs.

It depends on how you fudge. One thing I've heard about is a way of fudging "sell-through" stats. Apparently MS has been forcing retailers to essentially "buy" the consoles so, essentially "shipped" and "sold-through" numbers are identical. While not fraudulent, the practice is insanely misleading and a very short term plan as beyond launch/the holidays, retailers are very unlikely to commit to new shipments till current stocks perform.
I love how people are enraged about this, despite it not having been promised or owed. I'd like to think there would be some magical backup way to play ps3 game discs I own on PS4, so I could move my ps3 to another room or not need to buy another one if it craps out...but I bought those PS3 games for the PS3...I got what I paid for. I'm not sure why it is that people are always acting so entitled.

Yeah. It's Unity. Which is pretty much the entire reason it's impressive, because this whole theme is about how far things have come along. I'm not familiar with the game, but this is definitely Unity.
Valve is the anti-nintendo. Mario gave Nintendo their success, particularly in NA and they have delivered, and re-delivered him constantly for like 30 years. Half-life built Valve and yet they treat it like an inconvenience. While I admit, there is a middle ground, they could take a note from Nintendo on this one and put down the plans for world domination for two seconds and FINISH THE FRIGGEN CLIFFHANGER!
Kobe357 is right. I own both systems. Both are amazing. Vita has infinitely better hardware, however, both have amazing and varied games and every gamer remotely interested in handheld gaming should have both.
Gaming has a very annoying "I own 'A' so therefore hate 'B'" dynamic. Unnecessary. Just buy all the worthwhile stuff.
Disc-less consoles are like like non-portable disc-less laptops, in that, eventually you'll end up shelling out for a more expensive external drive. But being non-portable...what 's the point? Save $20 on purchase price of $500 machine?

If the store receives 6 ps4s and 12 xb1s and sells out the 6 ps4s in one day and then sells 6 of 12 xb1s in the same period, the only useful data was the xb1 sales because they had sufficient stock to show a remainder. Actually, while I find all these personal attacks over console sales to be ridiculous, that isn't actually true. Evidence points to stores selling out of larger numbers of Ps4s. The demand is higher atm, probably more due to the price than the specs (since most consumers don't follow specs) Though, awareness is growing over multiplatform disparity.
