I admit when I first saw this I was like just what exactly is Sony trying to convey? Now that I have watched it again I think I see what they are saying.
First its a doll and as such is something kids would play with. It then sees the PS3 and thinks oh cool another toy...then the realisation sets in that OMG its the PS3 and no one is going to want to play with me and starts to cry.
It is a bit bizaare and unless this is series of commercials designed to tell so...

It would appear they definately want to make it possible to play PS3 games via the PSP. Will just have to wait to see if they pull it off.

Native 1080p means the game supports that resolution on its own. Ubisoft has stated for the record the game does not do that it only supports 1080i. Thus if the Xbox is outputing to a TV at 1080p its something that is being done to change (convert) the signal from native 1080i to 1080p. The fact that a software update has to be done in order to allow this to happen means it just converting the signal from 1080i to 1080p like many of the 1080p TV's do today.

A software update that allows the XBox 360 to upscale games to 1080p does not make the games native 1080p. I can buy a DVD player that upscales a DVD to 1080p but that does not mean the DVD is now a native 1080p disc. It would appear your "capacity" far exceeds mine :P

One who feels the need to comment negatively in every article about a system he will never get or own. They do this because they consider themselves so much "smarter" and "in the know" then people who like and are actually going to buy said system.
The message of the video is to show that Sony is thinking about the future and allowing for far greater amount of space for developers to take advantage of to create worlds never seen or experienced before. That's not over hype, that's the truth, especially compared to what is available on other next gen consoles that only offer the status quo from last gen consoles in this regard.

If your veiwing a movie from a second source, ie DVD or VHS you can switch between that source over to the PS3 or XBox 360. If you have a HD-DVD add on for the 360 you could switch between the 2 since its a second drive which the PS3 only has one. But you could pause your movie and go surf the net, check email etc while your girl friend is on the phone. Something the XBox 360 won't allow you to do.

You could be right but the only one who appears to be changing their position on 1080p is MS, its certainly not Sony. And Sony is the only one trying to have games created in 1080p.
