Wow Starfleets, GaMr states that update 1.6 is the best so far (which it is for the PS3) and you go off on him. He never said best update ever or best console ever, that's you. I see nothing wrong with the title or the article. Instead of speculation of what is going to be in the update, its the offical announcement direct from Sony which puts to rest any doubt as to what it would actually have.

I agree fenderputty I hope with Motorstorm they do the same thing. Having developers update and add new things to already released games is a great way to build up loyalty and attract new fans to your game. Then when you come out with your next release RFoM 2 or Motorstorm 2 you have a huge following of fans who will definately buy it.

I remember playing this in the arcades when it first came out. It was a totally different type of game then anything before it. Put your quarter in and you had to react by pushing the joystick up,down, left or right to keep the game and the story going. It ultimately a memory and timing game. Talk about a way to eat up quarters! LOL

Just picked up my PS3 and a new 50" HDTV yesterday. Loving Motorstorm and RFoM and all the good stuff Sony has coming this year.

Been battling with Xbox 360 fans who say the PS3 is nothing but a glorified movie player with no games to play. Now I have to listen to Toshiba say that the PS3 doesn't count as a movie player since a person could use it to play games!

True I did not take into consideration that the 360 launched in Europe so was in more limited supply then the PS3 was in NA. I disagree that 2 weeks before Xmas the PS3 was readily available but its did appear quicker on retailer store shelves on a regular basis then the 360 did. So I agree had the 360 been more available it would have sold more then it did.

Well its certainly winning based on current monthly sales. The big question is can it sustain it? Its not in the same ball park when compared to the Xbox 360 and PS3.
