Game definately looks fun. Have they finally come out with this as being download only or disc? I know Sony had given conflicting information on this and am still not sure its been decided one way or the other.
are not the way to determine release dates or actual titles. They are often mistaken and they put up releases date even when one has never been given by the publisher. All they do is estimate and then update it to the actual release date once they know.
the reason PS3 fans care about this is because of all the taunts from the 360 camp over how the 360 had better graphics on cross platform games. As we have seen, if developers take their time to fully get a grip on how to program the PS3, the graphics are as good. Sometimes its a bit better on the PS3 and others on the 360. You know your arguement would actually be valid if Sony went into Europe with only 300,000 units like MS did for the launch of the 360 and they did not sell out. That would totally show its lack of damand. Sony came with 1,000,000 units and even then might be sold out by the weekend. Its was not suppost to get people out to buy or try and get a free t.v. but to simply thank those loyal supporters who came out for the launch and nothing more? That by no means means it will happen next launch either. And then MS tries to spin it as we don't have to resort to giving away free t.v.s to move our system. Do me a favor and make a list of all the PS2 games you own that you can't play on your Euro PS3 and keep in mind this soon will be the same for the U.S. and Japan buyers as well. If that amount of games its not able to play is such a tragedy in your life that its a deal breaker then don't buy a PS3.

The "elite" version isn't a requirement for anyone (I'm not getting it). 360 owners will be able to use their launch consoles from day one(as is my plan), and up until the end of the consoles lifespan, which is about 5-7 years total.
