Already pre-ordered from Shopto but no deposit required so I may still seek out a launch event. I have no problems waiting all night to get one. It makes for more excitement.

Developers should develop a conscience and make games as best as they can for each platform's strengths - ain't gonna happen though.
The 360 had cross-game chat. That was the biggest factor I feel for kids to chat and diss each other during gaming. They also had massive advertising here in the UK.
Without the strong showing of the 360 we would not be getting the PS4. Competition is great for us gamers.

Great point. What about Amazon's Love Film? They offer 3 games to rent at any one time for a monthly subscription. Will MS make a special deal with these companies.

Sony is NOT doing it. Developers will have the choice. Then we as consumers can choose not to buy games from these developers.
Basically Sony is "outing" these developers.

There's nothing better than getting off your ass heading to the shops and browsing through older games that you never got the chance to buy first time around.

Develop for Next gen consoles and I'll buy a game if it's good enough. Not ports!
Just Imagine what a true open world game can deliver based on next gen Ram and graphics capabilities. If I wanted a pimped-up PS3/360 version I'd get the PC version instead.
With the surge of smartphones and tablets we now have thousands of small games.
Now should be a great time to develop small to medium games. MS and Sony make enough from it all and should support lower-tier development.
Great to see Sony so open. MS have never been about Open systems. I hope they change their minds and give these indie developers a leg up.
To get the best from a hybrid new gaming console it makes sense to adopt a CPU/GPU solution.

I am interested to see what games and quality is produced. Just like I was at the reveal to no avail.
My only concern is they will literally only show games and not clear up any issues regarding the specs, subscriptions, used games, etc.
I was impressed by how much detail Sony went into and cannot wait to see the console and get final conclusions on pricing and PSVita integration.

I tend not to buy games held back by developers. If they don't have the decency to release at the same time then I won't buy that game.
If we all did this regardless of console then it would soon stop!
