Microsoft do not waste any time with their marketing. Still no real bundle deals with prices for PS4 in the UK yet - even with a release date!
I felt the same way when I first played Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction. It was so way better than PS2/XBox 1 it was like landing on another planet and gaming.
The footage of a 15-min demo of MGS 4 in my local gaming shop got me hooked on current gen.
One day we will all be able to play a game on next gen and marvel at its delights - be it XB1 or PS4. There will be that one game that makes us think we can't go back.

Personally I think they should just get on with it. Their have been enough XB1 180s this year to keep us going. Sony just need to stay focused - they really are the standard bearers this year so far.
No need to get involved. It only helps MS if they can drag Sony into a verbal exchange.
The minimum of 32 proves once and for all that Sony were more on the ball and earlier developing the next gen. There can be no doubt about that.
It does make you think that with only 13 countries, Microsoft were planning on a 2014 release of their console until the Feb PS4 reveal.
Sony sure came out fighting this time around, and they have done their homework. They will release way more units in 2013 and the first few months of 2014.

What is clear from this interview is that physical DRM may not happen but the digital will be re-introduced. He mentioned you will have the choice to go full digital or stay with your physical games. And if you go full digital then you have to accept what that entails.
Guess its coming to a XB1 near you sooner than we thought..
This article, as short as it is, does not really clarify one way or the other.
Sony have said PS4 is the most powerful gaming console ever and you will not hear Microsoft deny that.
The questions are just how much more powerful and in what areas. We will all know by the end of 2015 when most developers will of released at least one game each.
Its a trade off between getting the best looking game that has lots going on or just going for the full HD/60fps and losing quality.
I take the better game with awesome environment an great AI every time.
This is the equal most wanted next gen game for me. I have a big PS3 and Vita backlog so it will take me a couple of years realistically to get through them.
Gives me plenty of time to play all the new great games coming out and then look forward to the 2015 line up of Uncharted and other great games.
The next gen is like the sweetest wine. Don't rush it. It is here to stay. Let's all take our time and enjoy its fruits..
