Do you live in the real world? I have to ask, seriously!
When a company announces its product and vision for that product then has to back track on so many features in the full public glare because of very low pre-orders - yes, I call that troubled.
It does not mean that the XB1 will not become a success, it merely means it has had a troubled start.
I love football but have always found Fifa & Pes a bit stale. The controls are pretty bad and the AI can favour the computer a lot.
For me Knack seems a better game. I was not that impressed in Feb. but the more I see the more I like!
Beware: Do not expect all next gen games to look this good. We are talking about Guerilla Games!
Love the rain scenes the best. With the semi-dark lighting, clouds and the falling rain it was so atmospheric. Wow! I hope more games do variable weather.

Wow! News to me. Whenever I have tried before it always blocks the playing of movies. I tried this only last year.
I will try again. So either it was blocked before and now it isn't or it plays from the USB now or it has to be in a certain format. I tried MP4 and also WMV files with no luck..

Edit: Seems like I need to download an update file first. So it only works for the first time if connected to the internet...
You know, I have never seen Microsoft troubled - until this past few months, that is. They have never had to back track so much before.
They must of thought they had this gen all sewn up. Now they know the reality. You gotta earn it first!
Like everything else we will read in the next few months, just wait until we actually see them for ourselves...
First time I tried to play a movie clip on my USB on the 360 I was shocked it would not play any files no matter what format. It was completely blocked.
I had done this many times on my PS3 and stored so much music on there. We all need our own local backup just in case.
With cloud saves it will become less of a need for a digital copy but as in the real world - there are always times!

I am sure many talented people work for Microsoft. They just choose some weird PR Management..
Doesn't mean the company who sold it you didn't cut corners with the original hardware (no wifi, no HDD, no integated HDDVD, no sata-swappable HDD, RROD, etc.) just to be first to market.
And when you look at PS+ its not too hard to see which offers the best value (PS+ was bad in its first year).

Microsoft will always be Microsoft.
The 360 was awful for customers with sloppy hardware and lack of MS studios. Live kept the 360 afloat. In fact, all those yearly subscriptions have inspired MS to do whatever they want - regardless.
Hence the XB1 in its early form. Only awful backlash and terrible pre-order numbers changed all that.
I hope they change and become more gamer/developer focused. We will all know a bit more in 2-3 years time whe...

Is that why you can pre-order GTAV on the PSN and download it in readiness but Live on the 360 cannot handle digital pre-orders at the moment?

The 16GB card is okay at £25..
You get used to controllers pretty quickly. It is the last thing on my mind when I buy a console. The new XB1 controller has had $100M spent on it and the DS4 is getting rave reviews from all developers.
We do not have to worry about controllers this gen.
BTW. Have you seen the gorgeous Red & Blue DS4 controllers? Just goggle it. They are the most incredible looking controllers ever..
PS4 will be outselling XB1 by 2>1 or 3>1 by Christmas. It may be more. I do not think MS have the physical consoles to keep up with Sony right now.
MS are being tactical. They feel the heat at home and have kept units back for their home turf. It will hurt MS if the PS4 sells more in the US by the end of the year.
It will be good for gaming, though. A shift in the balance keeps them on their toes. The customer will win in the end. What a great time to b...

So the 360 has the best network service in Live but cannot take pre-orders? Doh!
Samsung make great hardware. We could see amazing hardware from both Sony and Samsung.
We need competition, where ever it comes from. This summer has taught us that.
