"Gigs of ram today are pennies on the dollar."

Gigs of RAM? Really? *facepalm*

And no, it's not that much when it comes to computers, but it sure as hell is a lot for 360 as most people prefer to install their games.

"70g of space, $15 dollar overall savings and a custom paint job is not a great deal."

It's NOT 15 dollar savings. 70gb is nowhere near worthless, ESPECIALLY when it comes to 360 sto...

Well, I would list going on rampages in GTA a core gameplay mechanic, but it sucks so bad in GTAIV, that it's not even worth mentioning.

No infinite ammo, no ammo recharge without having to slowly pull out a cell phone and go to the cheats menu, only to have the cell phone go right back in your pocket if you are even slightly damaged, the most generic weapon set in the history of video games at your disposal, repetitive missions and terrible controls.

Have fun going on virtual dates, hanging out with virtual friends, going virtual bowling, playing virtual darts, going to virtual stand up shows, browsing a virtual web browser (O_o), and watching tv within your game.

I'll be having fun dropkicking pedestrians, calling in airstrikes, strapping c4 to people while watching them flail around and then explode at the push of a button, shooting people out of a cannon, shooting myself out of a cannon and then parachuting to the ...

I played them on consoles, but I had a blast with them as well. CoD2 being my first CoD game, it was so addictive and fun.

"they have failed to innovate"

Where's the innovation in Battlefield 3? All I've seen so far from BF3 is Bad Company 2 with prettier graphics, bigger maps, a few more vehicles and better destructability. No drastic or innovative changes.

Face it, they're both not that different from their predecessors. BF3 may be more different than the previous iteration, but not by any large amount.

You're missing out then.

There are plenty of other equally deserving games other than Battlefield 3, so why in the hell would I choose a game that will cause me great annoyance over one that will not? That doesn't make us babies, it just means we aren't willing to put up with their greedy bullsh*t because there are PLENTY of other games coming out that.

How exactly did Windows hurt the PC market?

You probably just suck. Sniping in Bad Company 2 takes little to no skill at all (takes even less in CoD).

If you can't snipe in game as easy as Bad Company 2, well you just need to get better then.

I wish another dev could successfully replicate that fast paced mp combat with 60fps on consoles so those of us who like that pace don't have to resort to CoD, as it seems CoD is the only FPS on consoles to offer it.

"Twisted Metal is more deserving of your $60 than any other game."

No. It's probably going to be more deserving of $60 than a lot of other games, but not ANY other game, and before the delay, Twisted Metal was my 2nd most anticipated game, so I'm not biased when it comes to this game.

"Twisted Metal will go down in history as one of the best games of all time."

Yeah I doubt it. It will surely be a very great game,...

I wish they would have an option for cloud game save storage to be a separate, smaller purchase. I renewed for 3 months just to back up my Demons Souls savegames until I get a new ps3, but I don't think the 17 bucks I spent for it is worth it.

Some people have fun in different ways and don't want to repeat the same thing over and over again, even though they may be getting better each time, it isn't worth it if they aren't having fun.

I remember dying like somewhere up to 60 times on Resident Evil 5 professional mode (to platinum it) and I didn't feel any sense of reward for beating the individual sections. Same with Uncharted 2s last boss on crushing mode (I hate that boss so much on crushing mode...

It may combat piracy, but it also combats the people who want to buy their game.

Just a question to all the DS owners out there, I don't have a DS at all, so would the 3ds be worth it at this point in time to buy for the regular DS games?

Would it be a good deal for me since I haven't owned one before, because I hear most of the complaints are from people who've already owned a DS and are disappointed by a not so much improved successor.

You might want to hold off on the 3DSiLiteUltraSlimMax+, I hear they are going to be announcing a 4DSiLite pretty soon.

Xbox 360 250gb - $300
2nd controller (with transforming d-pad) - $50
Gears of War 3 - $65

That comes to $415, but you also get 70gb more space and an amazing custom paint/sound job. I think you're saving quite a bit more than $15 depending on how valuable you view the extra space and custom paint job to be (it's at least worth $50 bucks in my opinion).

Seems like a great deal to me. All though I do have a functional 20gb system, I pl...

@Yi-Long

What the hell does waiting for the DLC of the second game have to do with playing the first game?

You do know you can pick up the first game with ALL the DLC really cheap right? And if you're not interested in the first one, then why even bother with the second one or its DLC?

Are you one of those "I wont buy a game on launch day because there will eventually be a goty release with all of the dlc" people? Because even...

@Dragonborn

Yeah, but that's the case with most games nowadays. Uncharted 3 (at least for me) seems to be one of those games as well. It looks really good, but just doesn't seem to impress me as much as when I first saw gameplay of Uncharted 2.

But it doesn't matter in the end, as long as you have fun with them.
