I'm using the $40 dollar credit I got from pre-ordering the Gears 3 Xbox 360 to get this completely free. Amazon is awesome.
@wirapuru
I have no doubts that Dark Souls will be 'worth it'(my version of your 'complete'), because from what I've played of Demons Souls, it was pretty good.
Okay, here, picture this scenario: Dark Souls comes out, and it's everything you've ever wanted from the game, it's long, it's amazing, it's incredibly polished and you love it so much, that you feel as if you owe THEM money. Now, picture that 5 months down the...
"It could of been very, very easy for FS to take out some parts of the game, parts you probably won't see until several playthroughs in and make them DLC. But they didn't, it's all in there and yes, it makes me happy to know that I'm getting a quality product at a great price."
Apparently you still don't get what I'm saying. You assume games like Oblivion and Fallout 3 and Red Dead intentionally took out content to sell later as DLC, which c...
"1: "We won't release any DLC because our game is complete."
I really don't get why people are praising them for saying something like this.
It implies that no other game that has had DLC is "complete". Well games like Borderlands, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Red Dead Redemption, Fallout New Vegas all felt 'complete' to me without the DLC. I got tons of hours of enjoyment out of those games WITHOUT the DLC and felt that eve...
"I know you said "popularized" but that means absolutely nothing."
Wrong. It means a lot, seeing how it influenced a lot of todays great over the shoulder tps games, just as Halo deserves some credit for influencing many of todays great FPS games (and I hate halo btw, but I know that it deserves some credit).
"It shouldn't get credit for something just because it had a big budget and a huge marketing campaign."

"Sorry bud but, Saints Row's controls and driving physics felt like i was playing a ps2 game. stop kidding yourself!"
Sorry bud, but GTA4s controls and driving physics felt like I was shot up on heroin with two cinder blocks attached to my feet and an anchor tied to the back of my car.
Saint's Rows controls were at least FUN to use, but I can see you and most people here don't give a sh*t about that anymore you simpletons just want crapp...
@Ocelot
They're not supposed to drive like real cars, they're supposed to be fun to drive. Better does not mean more realistic.
"sr driving sucks bad, it's so stupid, I mean wow, have you even driven in that game?"
Yeah, I have, and the controls are quick, responsive, tight, and most importantly, FUN. Driving with those p.o.s. controls in GTA4 was just a pain in the ass.
Oh well, I never thought this s...
Easy as hell if you hide in that corner he can't reach you from or have an infinite shield.
Pretty much the only character you can beat him with legitimately is Lilith.
Crawmerax in Borderlands.
@SolDojo
I'm talking about Grand Theft Auto itself here, not a mod.
Anybody can make a turd better than a good thing if they mod it beyond recognition.
Better controls, better variety in mission types/weapons, WAAAAYY better customization, better driving physics, a lot more fun and silly than GTAIV, better co-op, better missions etc.
GTAIV SUCKED as a grand theft auto game. Nothing about Grand Theft Auto was good aside from the story and graphics. GTA4 had atrociously terrible driving/walking/shooting controls, the most GENERIC arsenal of weaponry, boring ass side missions and mini-games.
Those first two r...
Give me a few reasons why you think GTAIV was better than Saints Row 2, other than graphics and the story.
I have a "one and done" friend. Call of Duty is his choice. Whenever he comes over and looks at my game rack (I have about 40 something ps3 games), he scoffs at them, despite never having played any of them. He's also one of those people who believe anything that scores below a 9 isn't worth his time.
I want more gaming friends :(
Ugh, another one of these terrible articles that asks the dumbest freaking questions that have been answered over and over again (questions that don't even need to be answered because they're so f'ng obvious to anyone who isn't a moron).
Okay, here's the answer yet again:
[anticipated game that has proven itself either by the franchise or devs] will not sell anywhere near as much as Modern Warfare 3, but will be of vastly higher quality th...
Yeah, most likely. I know I wouldn't buy it if they went if they kept the old camera angles. It would be way too outdated. And besides, a game doesn't need a crappy outdated camera technique to be scary.
"Bethesda have even said this themselfs."
I'll be the judge of that. Ninja Theory trashed Heavenly Sword a little while back basically saying it wasn't very good, as have a few other devs about other games. I'm not going to take a devs word on whether or not I'll enjoy something, that's my call.
"but you don't think about howm much it would effect the game you love. What happens if it's not the same game when they ...
I agree with you for the most part about tacked on mp/sp experiences, but I had an absolute blast with Resident Evil 5 on co-op, but then again, it was only my second RE game to ever play, so I wouldn't exactly call myself a long time fan of the franchise. Still, if you don't look at it from the perspective of an RE fan and just look at it as a standalone game, it's a really great game.
Also about Skyrim and co-op: Skyrim doesn't 'need' co-op, but it ...
@Ares84
I'm the same way, but if it's far cheaper than a full price game (like 20 bucks or so), then it really doesn't matter to me.
Yeah, at least so far it is.
@PRHB HYBRiiD
Here: http://www.amazon.com/Weste...
Check out the first review, it states it works well as a ps3 hard drive, and there are probably more reviews on Amazon that do as well. But that will work for you, and is pretty cheap, and you will most likely never have to worry about space issues agai...
