I'm not gay, but I look at it like this: I can't "choose" to be attracted to someone I'm not attracted to (ex. fat/ugly women) and I'm betting you can't either, so why on Earth would gay people be able to choose who they are attracted to?
Being gay isn't a choice, just as being straight isn't a choice.
@Saladfax
Nobody played Brink because it sucked, not because it was focused on multiplayer.
Personally, I love both SP and MP equally, providing each of them are actually good, I get tons of enjoyment out of both of them. I don't need a story in my games to enjoy them, hell most stories from games I don't even remember, because the majority of them are unoriginal and have been done to death in movies and television. I mean I do enjoy those with amaz...
@Fragger2k8
".. Too many people rely on using sniper rifles because they were almost always instant death"
Yeah, and too many people also rely on spraying a full clip at someone, not having to have much skill or accuracy because they are simply spraying bullets in their general direction, slightly moving left and right easily getting a kill.
People with automatics are way more over powered than snipers, especially now that you can a...
"battlefield 3 seems to be going back to the core of sniping and balancing everything out"
Not really. The only reason people use sniper rifles is because of their power. Without their power, they become absolutely worthless and underpowered.
I think it's $10 credit, not $20.
"I understand that people like COD but guys, it's the same game ever since COD4. I'm so tired of that same exact gameplay"
No, no it's not the same. It's worse, way worse. The difference between CoD4 and MW2 is night and day.
"Console gaming is easily more expensive then PC due to higher prices on games and lack of deal that we find on Steam."
It's more expensive if you don't know how to use the internet. I find plenty of deals all the time on my games, most of them being as good as the majority of pc deals (the newer game pc deals, not 2+ year old pc steam deals where games are 8+. If you're a smart shopper, console gaming still remains cheaper.
@Ranshak
Last bastion of hope for the hardcore gamer? There are plenty of hardcore games on consoles.
So because someone hasn't played an old game, they are part of the CoD generation?
I have a pc that can handle it, but I'm getting it for ps3 though because I prefer to use a controller.
"Most multi platform games come with 360 controller support."
Not really, at least not the majority of the games I've downloaded from the steam sales. Most first person shooters don't support it and don't support it properly. I brought up that point in a past article and people were somehow angrily shocked that I wanted to use a gamepad on an fps, bashing me for wanting to use what I grew up with. These very same people saying "well PC is better ...
"How does someone else's hype ruin a game for you?"
In the same way that someone promises/guarantees me that "insert game here" will be the best and most fun thing I've ever played, and end up being disappointed because it was nowhere near that great.
"@vickers500-why pull up Uncharted fans for THEIR OTT love of THEIR series but not, say, Halo fans, MG fans or Mass Effect fans?"
Because I never see fans o...
"superior graphics and multiplayer"
The multiplayer is superior in terms of options yeah, but not in terms of the community. I only know 3 people who play pc games, and all they play is WoW. I'd rather be playing with my friends, all of which reside on consoles.
And the 360 controller doesn't work for every (or even most) pc game. There's motionjoy/pinnaclegameprofiler , but that only goes as far as to provide very basic controls, and...
Lol, nothing on Earth is as amazing as the people here on n4g make Uncharted out to be.
They act like it's some type of life changing, orgasm causing miraculous game that is better than anything that's ever existed.
It's really annoying and that type of ridiculously high magnitude of hype and praise from these people ruin the game for us who just expect it to be a GREAT game.
Whenever n4g gets excited about something and starts ov...
Hopefully that just means harder enemies and not bs scenarios that require you to play the whole level over again if you die once.
Bring on the harder enemies though, I would welcome that.
"I played games harder than Demon's Souls when I was 10 years old."
So?
What does that have to do with anything? Are you saying that since you played games that were harder than Demon's Souls when you were a kid, then everybody should play hard games without complaining? Not everyone is exactly like you. Some people like having fun in different ways, it doesn't mean your way is right.
Damn :(
This looks like a collectors edition worth buying too.
"the control pad just dosent work"
You must be a pretty damn terrible gamer then, because I've had no problems whatsoever.
Don't bash controllers just because you suck at using them.
I bought Crysis recently, played it on high, and it's not "massively" better than Uncharted 2/3 as your delusional pc fanboy mind believes it is.
Out of those games you listed, I've only played Bad Company 2 on max and Crysis 1 on high, but those in no way make Uncharted 3 look like a ps2 game, and I'm pretty confident a game like Far Cry 2 doesn't either.
Just because a game may have zero jagged edges and run at a higher framerate,...
"Not an issue except for the people that have to go out of their way to tell you they are gay ect"
Don't fool yourself, we straight people do that as well. Every time a hot woman passes by, someone stares at her ass and/or makes a comment about it to his buddies or other men in the vicinity who would appreciate it as well. Or those couples making out or arguing about their relationship in public places.
Straight people (I'm straight btw) d...
