Cool story bro
Uh, that was the release window that they gave us in the beginning. Pretty sure it hasn't changed.
Brink was inferior? How so? And Gears of War is a huge reason to own the 360. I myself will be purchasing one when it comes out just for that game (sold my 360 a while ago).
Also, the games TheDivine listed are also good reasons to own a 360.
I myself prefer 360, but you'd be an absolute moron to deny that the 360 doesn't have some good games.
"how come no one said that"
They did. Plenty.
Who told you such foolish things?
"They should be there and not bonuses . Why should you get a 100% completion award , if you dont actually do 100% of the game."
Agreed. People think that just because they don't like one part of the game, that they should still be able to achieve 100% (or a platinum) on the game.
I think the reason for that is many ignorant people still see online as a "bonus" for every single game, and fail to acknowledge it's importance and equ...
Omfg Bioshock 2s platinum was so painful :'(
I had all the trophies for single player, but had to play through the very mediocre multiplayer mode. The worst part was that leveling up in that took FOREVER. Honestly I could have probably beaten the game twice in the time it took me to fully level up multiplayer.
It's the gameplay, and by gameplay, I mean the controls. It's because it's smooth, fast and chaotic, which is achieved by having 60fps.
No one would buy Call of Duty if it was slower paced.
@JellyJelly
Yeah it does, but it doesn't really matter all that much since both of them don't seem to be doing or trying anything new.
For me it's
Gameplay first
Art style second
Replayability third
Story fourth
Graphics fifth
Sound design last
Story in a game isn't really that important to me, since like 90% of them ending up sucking or end up generic anyways, even the ones some think are good (Uncharted 2, Alan Wake, a few others that I cannot think of right now), so it's not really important to me.
I get my great stories...
Just because you aren't interested in the games coming out, doesn't mean there's only one game "worth" buying.
There's only one game that interests YOU, but there are plenty of games that are worth buying for others.
Just wait till MW4. Next they're going to have laser beams as well. Or perhaps a mini nuke attached to each one of them.
I like Uncharted, but I definitely don't "love" it. I did when I first saw the cinematic sequences, but after that, I got over it.
Aside from those cinematic sequences (and voice acting), nothing was really AMAZING. The gameplay was good and had no problems, the story was okay, though it was a bit generic (as were the character personalities of everyone), the writing was good for what was there, the multiplayer was average (not bad, not great, just solid), but...
Not to sound like a ps3 fanboy, but what's wrong with getting it on ps3? Just like the controller for 360 better or what?
Neither look that good. MW3 looks rehashed, and BF3 looks like Bad Company 2 with prettier graphics, bigger maps and a few new vehicles.
I'm not excited for either of them.
You obviously cared enough to comment.
"I could not have put it better, my feelings exactly.
I Love gaming on my pc but the kb/m hinders my immersion a lot of the time. For me that's more important."
Same here. With a controller, I forget that I'm holding a controller and get completely immersed in the game I'm playing.
With a mouse and keyboard however, I'm ALWAYS reminded that I'm using a mouse and keyboard, and if you lose your left hand position ...
:D
"Anyway, you obviously don't have a gaming PC, because if you did, you wouldn't complain about lack of controller support for a first person shooter. In other words, you don't know what you're talking about."
So just because I prefer using a controller for FPS, that means I don't know what I'm talking about? I can't prefer a different method of controls other than keyboard and mouse? Are you really THAT offended that people have differen...
