No, the problem is not solved. The bottom line, is that they are taking away from us consumers while giving ABSOLUTELY F*CKING NOTHING in return in a greedy attempt to make profit that they don't deserve, profit that has already been paid to them (with the original purchase of the game, and it's not like it costs them extra to maintain the servers, since it's not like the server capacity doubles each time a pre-owned game is sold, it just transfers ownership to someone else).
I'd rather have Patapon. Played 2 of the demos on my friends psp and it was a blast, but I don't want to buy a psp just to play them or wait until the Vita comes out to buy them through download.

And no, the majority will not download in 10 years, ESPECIALLY with EA pulling all this sh*t with origin, where you don't actually own the game. Digital Download services can take away your game from you any time they want, but no developer can take away a disc.
Digital downloads will become a lot more popular, but the majority of people will always prefer a physical copy.

Back when I pre-ordered Portal 2, I used the 20 dollar credit for something other than a game, it was a mouse I believe or some cables or something, I'm not sure what, but I know for a fact it wasn't a game. Oh yeah, now I remember, it was for a computer case.

No, they were saying that digital distribution being the only option would never be a reality, and it's not, at least not for a long time.
Besides, BF3 is a special case. Most multiplatform games are fine when played on either console or pc, however battlefield 3 is one of the few games that MUST be played on PC because there, the differences are actually going to be pretty huge.
I'd like co-op for Mass Effect 3. I mean you're with a partner pretty much all the time anyways, so why not make one or more of those partners on your team controllable by a friend?

Oh I doubt it has NOTHING to do with polish. Yeah, they probably did push it back because the market is going to be overcrowded, but I bet they are going to at least polish the game a little more in the mean time or possibly do a beta test for the servers.
