So you expect developers to work hard to give you things for free and give them nothing in return?
How old are you, 12?
I like DLC, just as long as it's not pre-order DLC or DLC that comes out within a month after the games release.
So why don't you explain it to me then?
"So, he was so famous to warrant an article about a reference in a video game?
This? This is "News 4 Gamers"?"
Yeah, he is. Compared to the amount of crap that makes it on this site, this article is top notch. It's just as relevant as any "easter egg" articles that we see around here. Just because YOU don't know who he is doesn't make him any less releva...
So why post a comment asking who he is when you could simply find out (in much greater detail)through a 10 second search?
"and I honestly hope I don't."
So you don't want the game to run at its full potential now, so you can wait 2-3 years so it can run at its full potential then?
"I'd rather they had zero hours of 'meh' and just put all their resources into multiplayer."
Agreed. The campaigns in the Bad Company games, while neat, shouldn't have been in there. They should have put more focus into what most people really want, the multiplayer. BC2 didn't had like what, 8 maps? I'd rather have them add like 4 or 5 new maps and a few vehicles/weapons/features than tack on an unnecessary single player campaign.
I'd rather keep the game in hopes that I one day may enjoy it than sell it for 5 bucks.
@BadCircuit
Why?
Battlefield and CoD are games that don't need stories, and would be better without them. They are both simply fun, mindless shooters. BF and CoD need a SP mode just as much as Dead Space 2 needed MP.
Is there anything you do like besides Silent Hill? I'm guessing you don't like adventure games, fps games, racing games (understandable), sports games (also understandable), action adventure games, third person shooters, or zombie games, so what do you like?
"ICO: Never played it or even heard of anyone playing it. Probably not my type of game."
So whether or not a game is "your type" depends on how popular it is (or isn't)? I feel sorry for you.
Because we thought we would have fun and end up finishing, but we ended up not liking it and just stopped playing because it wasn't fun.
That's why.
Play inFamous. NOW!!!
"If you take something that is not yours"
Exactly. If you TAKE something that isn't yours. Piracy isn't taking though, it's simply making a copy. It doesn't make piracy right, but it's sure as hell not anywhere near the level of theft. At least with piracy, the creator still has their creation. With theft, the creator no longer possesses what was theirs.
Definitely get the wall break ability, it opens up a lot of new paths and much of the time there is some pretty good loot (ammo, weapon mods, weapons, etc.) in those walls. You can get by most sections stealthily without invisibility, but there are a few instances where I'm pretty sure it's required to get by undetected. But if you are going to get invisibility, make sure you upgrade your energy cells so you have the maximum capacity, because it does eat up energy really fast.
Not a very good guide. Plenty of the ones he listed as useless are pretty good. The Icarus landing system makes getting around go by MUCH faster. Why take 2 or 3 minutes climbing down 4 flights of stairs when you can just jump off the roof in a few seconds?
The implanted rebreather is useful as well, just not very useful in the sense of helping you navigate through the game. Throw a gas grenade (or mine) at a boss, they stand there incapacitated while you can unload a ful...
Damn you're cool.
"I never understood why someone would get 2 copies of the same game especially if there is no mp."
To support the devs. I bought Bioshock on 360 first, then paid 30 bucks for it on ps3 (and platinum'd it), then purchased it for 5 bucks on Steam. Then again Bioshock IS my favorite game.
Replaying a game on a different platform kind of makes it feel like a new game.
Agreed. It was one of the most fun co-op games I've ever played.
I know that was offered for free back then, but that doesn't mean it should be offered for free now. It's not as easy to make a map pack now as it was back then, there is a lot more detail required of todays games. And even then, free map packs and huge amounts of content were a LUXURY, an incredibly nice thing for the developers to do, something extra, not something you deserved. It's entitled brats like you who think they owe you free stuff.
