I didn't like it very much with Killzone 3. I did however like it quite a lot on inFamous 2&Festival of Blood and the 1 hour game trial I tried of Resident Evil 5.
I bought the move and nav controller when they were half off at gamestop though, and I already had the eye, so I think it was only 40 or 50 bucks.
But it finally became worth it for me whenever that move patch for inFamous 2 came out. Hopefully Uncharted 3 will get one down the line as we...
@Eiffel
Well said.

@SSultan
World at War didn't suck. It wasn't great, but it definitely didn't suck.
MW2 and MW3 sucked though (Black Ops was OKAY)
Good list. That "become ethereal and then jump off a cliff" thing will be incredibly helpful, and I probably wouldn't have ever thought of using it just to get around.
It's awesome UI, it's just not fit for the PC version.
"Finished Uncharted 3 day of release and there was nothing wrong with the controls"
Yes, there is. The controls are terrible compared to Uncharted 2, and that is proof enough that there is something wrong with them.
Controls in a game should either improve or stay the same, but in Uncharted 3, they got worse. I've played an hour and a half of the game, and it was very interesting, but the sluggishness of the controls has forced me to wait for ...
@zeeshan
Well obviously it's a fanboy conspiracy and everybody just hates Sony. /s
I've only played like 20 minutes of MW3 at my friends house, but there was nothing wrong with MW3s controls.
There is however, something wrong with Uncharted 3s controls. Controls/gunplay are really the biggest part of these two games, so you can't really compare the two situations as they are entirely different. If MW3 had major issues with the ...
"As long as it's fun who gives a hoot?"
You're implying fun is bad in any sort of way? Wow, just wow. Maybe you should pick another hobby. If everything you play requires some sort of seriousness, then you are really missing out on a lot of fun.
I'm glad I don't have your outlook on gaming, otherwise I'd only buy 3 or 4 games a year.
He's referring to the quality of the product, not the price. He must have assumed that even the dumbest of commenters on this site would have understood that, but I guess he's never come across someone like you.
"Just because it's popular doesn't mean it isn't quality"
Hmm, I didn't see anything in his comment that said "if it's popular, then it isn't quality". He simply stated that just because something ...
"but I dont think anything and everything Skyrim related you can find on YouTube is post worthy"
Obviously you haven't played Skyrim yet.
:)
"but the depiction of such a thing is still disturbing in its own right"
So you find the depiction of a child being killed in a video game disturbing, yet you don't find the depiction of an innocent adult being killed in a video game disturbing? Killing an innocent adult DOESN'T represent something truly awful?
You're either a hypocrite or an evil sicko who only cares about the lives of children and nobody else. I'm just going to g...
"For me to say it was a bore fest best because I couldn't smack people with dildos is stupid."
I don't want to smack people with dildos, in fact I never even used that weapon in San Andreas.
"If GTA 4 remained the same, but had all the cheats SA and VC had would the game no longer be about realism?"
It would still be about realism, but it would at least be fun.
And the realism I'm talking about...
@venomcarnage
Which proves the point that he DOES care, otherwise he wouldn't have posted anything at all.
I don't care about Lady Gaga, but I don't butt into peoples conversations about her proclaiming to everybody that I don't care about her, I simply choose not to chime in.
He cares, he doesn't think it's important, but he definitely cares.
"GTA is about realism."
San Andreas wasn't, Vice City wasn't, GTA3 wasn't. The only GTA that was about realism was GTA4, and it was a massive step down from its predecessors.
"but GTA4 is far from a BORE fest"
I had absolutely no desire to play the game after I finished the campaign. I will admit, the story was good and it was one of the few stories in gaming I actually kind of liked, but running around the c...
"GTA was far from boring. Its atmospheric city, more realistic physics and better shooting makes it a much better game than any Saints Row."
I haven't tried Saint's Row 3 just yet (still waiting for it to get delivered), but GTA4s controls were awful. On foot, you felt like a 700 pound obese man with an anvil tied to your foot, and the car physics were way too realistic that it just completely took all the fun out of driving.
"I like...
@aviator
If you didn't care, you wouldn't have any feelings about this article.
I know for a fact that Ernest Le got the game early (was watching a livestream of him, probably still up on justin.tv), so that has something to do with him being at the top of the leaderboard.
It depends on what you like about Grand Theft Auto. If you play Grand Theft Auto style games for the serious story, then steer clear of Saint's Row.
However, if you play gta style games for the go anywhere, do anything, f*ck sh*t up sandbox mechanics, then as of now, there's no question about it that Saint's Row is the better choice (since GTA4 that is).
I prefer all the wild, crazy, unrealistic and fun things you can do in Saint's Row over G...
"then why the hell not mention this game breaking problem?"
Because not everybody has the same problems as everyone else. For some, the game can run perfectly fine throughout their entire playthrough, but for others, it can freeze to the point of being unplayable. I saw a video a few days which showed that this guy had an 8mb save file saying that once it got up to 7 or 8mb, then it would start to slow down and stop working, yet that hasn't been the case for m...
"I guess ps1 graphics for rage"
I seriously can't facepalm hard enough at such an utterly moronic statement such as that.
