Reading a system requirements sheet is almost worthless. They don't tell you how the game will run on YOUR rig, because they can't. They just say how the game will run at those specs, with nothing but the operating system running.

Well, I guess it's your choice to be so naive as to believe a developers word, despite the numerous instances of them being proven wrong over the years. A few examples: "Xbox 360 is more powerful than ps3", "PS3 has been maxed out!"(said like 3 or 4 years ago on titles not even close to looking as good as Uncharted, yet quite a lot of developers made that claim).
