"It's bad enough that I have to wait a month later to pay them for DLC and that I have the worst graphics."

Just do the side missions in the mean time. Do you expect to finish every single side mission before the game comes out?

And worst graphics? I'm playing it on the PS3 and it looks pretty damn good for an open world game to me.

The framerate issue is a bit worrying though, although it hasn't happened to me yet, it...

@Ares

Burnout Paradise? They released quite a lot of content FOR FREE. Day and night cycles, motorbikes, the custom soundtrack feature on ps3, a bunch of free extra game modes and a lot more trophies to earn.

The only paid DLC they released was Big Surf Island (reasonably priced) and some extra cars, but nothing that was essential to having a good time with the game. Burnout had a ton of cars without DLC, and a ton of terrain to drive around without Big Su...

That's an understatement.

I've hated MW2 for a while now with quite a passion. Well a couple of days ago I go over to my friends house who is f*cking crazy about cod (mostly the mw series, he didn't much care for black ops because it wasn't as full of crap as mw2 was) and I actually play and try out MW3, and it is just awful.

So f*cking awful in fact, that for short time, I found myself actually reminiscing about Modern Warfare 2, a game I re...

"Explain why practically every other developer can have a perfectly fine development process for the PS3 without the massive bugs that Bethesda's games have, but Bethesda can't?"

Because no other developer has created a game as deep or content packed as Bethesda. The Uncharteds, Killzones, GTAs, (etc.) of the gaming industry can go on virtually bugless because they have NOWHERE NEAR the amount of content that a Bethesda game does. Those games run fine beca...

"or, go into boringly designed cave/dungeon, hack n' slash to the end, you win."

You mean like the majority of Demon/Dark Souls? Go further and further through a cave hacking and slashing, fight a boss, rinse and repeat, collect loot along the way. You have no problem with that in DS but you complain about it in Skyrim? At least Skyrim gives you a bigger reason than "save the world" to do those things, and different ways to approach each of those sit...

It's pretty easy for me to tell most of the time. I'd rather have the Uncharted games just use in game cinematics, kind of how the majority of mgs4 did it.

They ruin it for me a lot of the time. Whenever a cutscene comes on, I put my controller down and just watch, because I'm basically just switching from playing a game to watching a pre-rendered video which looks very little like the game I was just playing (the cutscene looking much better).

It just creates this feeling of separation for me, I feel like I'm swapping between watching a movie and playing a game, when I should only feel like I'm playing a game.

It's not very spoilery. He only shows the locations of weapons that aren't tied to any quests.

Since I don't use two handed weapons, the only weapon in this video I'd actually use is the Red Eagles Bane, (I have it, found it myself), but that's about it. I personally would have liked this guide, as I didn't have any weapons worth a crap for a good chunk of my time spent in the beginning of the game.

Unfortunately these gods are forced to use our horrible technology/tools that us simple humans have created. That is why "bugs" in video games exist in the first place.

@JohnnyMann420

NPCs don't show up on the compass/radar though. I shouldn't have to go into a menu and look at a map every time I want to find someone that is in my general vicinity (and I also don't want to scour every nook and cranny of that vicinity to find who I'm looking for).

A sub-complaint related to that one that I personally have is that you can't tell if someones an enemy or not unless you either listen to them talking (and dete...

"He really should complain to the exploiters that ass raped the game sharing loophole to the point this needed to be enforced."

So Sony basically releases an incredibly awesome feature on the ps3, which is easy as hell to use, but then expects us not to use it or take advantage of it, and you want to blame the "exploiters" (don't even see how you could call them that, that's how easy the process is)?

It's not like they're h...

What?!?!? A whole 3 bullets?!?!? This is an outrage!

I mean, how in the hell do the developers expect us to kill anyone at all? Do they really expect us to go through the agonizing process of improving our skills slightly?

Well now, it appears Treyarch has simply lost touch with the gaming community. I mean I've heard of bullet sponge mechanics, but 3 bullets? That's just way too much.

Because most of them 'only' buy Call of Duty and skip the most deserving titles. I personally don't care if someone buys a CoD game, so long as they buy games other than CoD.

I hate them because they ignore everything except call of duty and pass up on games that actually deserve their money.

"this is the first year i didn't get COD the day it was released."

Same here. I was tempted to, but since there are FAR more better choices in gaming this time around, it made my decision not to buy it much easier.

I still may buy it for 30 bucks though if Amazon adds Saint's Row The Third to their "buy one get 50% off" deal, hopefully tomorrow.

"It's a lot more COD4 than BLOPS"

I haven't played MW3 yet, but I have a hard time believing that from watching like 7 hours of livestream gameplay footage and hearing how much faster the game is than mw2 is and how quickly you get killed.

I'll wait until my friend gets it though, see if that's true or not.

"AND you can always just use the third party program to use a dualshock 3 on your PC."

You can, but it doesn't work very well, and feels nothing like if you were playing it on ps3 with a dualshock.

I have a PC good enough to run it at high+ settings, but I will be getting it for ps3 for the proper controller support, the trophies, and the fact that it's on a blu-ray (pretty much scratch resistant, and I want a physical copy as well, so no st...

I hope so. Call of Duty campaigns usually tend to suck, and the only reason the majority of people buy it is for the multiplayer.

They should use that time they waste on the campaign to do something different and new with the multiplayer, or at least add much more content to the mp. Spend the money they would have spent on the campaign to give us dedicated servers instead of some on rails 4 hour crappy campaign mode.
