"So a company is evil for delivering extra content to players through a game that is already 100% complete?"
Hmm...
*re-reading my comment*
Where in my comment did I say that the company was evil? I can't seem to find the sentence. Could you please point it out for me? Unless you're just choosing what you want to hear instead of actually reading my comment? No that couldn't be. N4G commenters aren't that stupid....
Controller for me. Keyboard and mouse just COMPLETELY ruins the immersion in games for me. When I'm playing with a controller, I'm not even thinking about the controller. When I'm playing with a mouse and keyboard, a chunk of my concentration is always set on making sure my left hand doesn't lose it's position on the WASD keys, and whenever I do lose that position, I either have to feel around for the little nub (which is a big inconvenience in game) or I have to stop a...
Me too. Twisted Metal and The Darkness 2 are my most anticipated early releases of the year.
Sorry, but NYC_Gamer is right.
Back whenever From Software started that whole "no DLC" thing, everyone praised them like they were the most generous, awesome, kind hearted, selfless saints alive because they wouldn't release any DLC, with like 98% of the n4g folk agreeing with the decision, even when it came to DLC that came as a result of fan demand, the n4g folk were still against the concept of DLC because they believed that no matter how content packed the o...
I'm sorry, but if you think Dark Souls has a great story, you're simply trying to find a story when there isn't actually one to be found (kind of like how artists try to find meaning in any type of painting, even if it was made by a 2 year old).
You may have a great imagination about what goes on in the world of dark souls that game doesn't take time to explain, but that doesn't count as dark souls itself having a good story.
I like all the NPCs and towns, even if the majority of the people there are useless. It makes it feel like an actual world. I prefer hearing all the random stuff NPCs have to say, rather than dying almost every other time I feel like exploring, but then again, that's just me.
I also don't really like third person melee games all that much. I enjoy Skyrims combat much more than Demons/Dark Souls because first person combat feels much more personal, visceral, and im...
@inveni0
God of War 3.
And jesus christ, all I said was that Uncharted 3 isn't the only quality game with dedication to detail. If you honestly believe it is, then sorry, but you're either an idiot, or you haven't played very many games.
Having good production values isn't something that is exclusive to Uncharted 3. Uncharted 3 didn't invent good production values, and while they are probably the best out there right now...
The console versions could also support keyboard and mouse if the devs aren't lazy enough.
"DS beats skyrim in every way possible"
Except the story, dialogue, and the open world.
@Vitz3
I have a 12mb save file and things still work fine for me. I did notice some slowdown during some of the more heavier action sequences, such as the dark brotherhood base destruction where there's tons of crap blowing up all around you, a lot of NPCs both enemy and friendly being killed and speaking whilst doing so, but it was still playable and no where near "game breaking".
Guess I'm lucky.
@ZombieAssassin
That's not really exclusive to Uncharted 3 though. I think what LOGICWINS means, is what can Uncharted 3 specifically inspire in a racing game?
Maybe cinematic races, sort of like Motorstorm Apocalypse?
Got mine for $30 (buy one get one half off, Saint's Row 3 and MW3). In the end, hated it so much (never even leveled up all the way, not even half way. I always at least level up to the max level in every cod game, but not mw3, that's how crappy it was) I sold it to this racist, rude, loudmouth teenager I know for $40 bucks, actually making a $10 dollar profit.
I'm glad I waited for a deal on it. I felt ripped off at $30, I can't imagine how pissed off I wo...
I must be the only one who actually kind of likes dmc cover art.
"When you say bullet sponge, you're referring to the fact that it can take a lot of ammo to kill an enemy right?"
Yeah.
"I prefer that over the quick kill of CoD games."
I personally prefer a balance between the two. Something like Resistance 1 where it's not too much, but not too little. But I've learned that in Halo, pulling off headshots is absolutely crucial to success. If you're going for body shots...
For some reason, I've never really liked Halo all that much due to the bullet sponge mechanics.
But I recently bought Halo Anniversary and started to get into it, so I re-bought Halo Reach and have been having quite a bit of fun with it. At times though it can still be a bit frustrating on certain maps where players just appear out of nowhere and either execute you without warning or get the drop on you with 3 of his team mates that just come out of nowhere.
Back in the first few years of this gen, the majority of digital games were $10, with the odd few priced at $15. Now it seems more common for arcade games to be priced at $15.
@hay
Jeff Dunham isn't funny.
I just reported it as lame, and I suggest you all do the same if you are tired of seeing these crappy articles.
Jesus f*cking christ, do we really need ANOTHER Vita is in trouble article?
Regardless of whether or not they are true, we've had enough of them. If my fellow n4g members hate these articles as much as I do and are tired of constantly seeing these, then join me in reporting this piece of crap article and any others that may pop up and annoy you.
