Hopefully GTA5 is actually fun this time, unlike the extremely boring GTA4.
Please Rockstar, redeem yourselves. I know you have it in you, Red Dead Redemption was amazing, so right now, I'll just count GTA4 as one of your horrible screw ups, every good developer is at least allowed one.
"im not sure releasing the packs and charging customers more money for what they already paid for is a good solution. thats like paying for what you used to get from using a cheat code"
Well, it's completely optional, so the consumer would decide for themselves whether or not they wanted to pay for it, plus, if it were free, then everybody would just download it, but by having a price tag on it, only those who didn't have the time would purchase it.
...
If they're just boosting to get their unlocks, then no. Not everyone has the time to spend unlocking every little thing. If they're just trying to get to the top of the leaderbords, then sure, ban them, but that personally doesn't bother me, so I don't really care all that much.
Perhaps they should release one of those shortcut pack kits that you can buy for like 4 bucks to unlock everything like they did with Bad Company 2, that would solve a lot of the bo...

Ah, that explains it.
4/4? That just seems unnecessary.
It's always newegg.
"why do they have to apologise"
Because they broke a promise. It's nothing to get apeshit pissed about, but it definitely warrants an apology, especially for those who paid for a season pass, but an apology is all that is needed (unless the dlc somehow gets delayed for a month).
It has nothing to do with gamers being spoiled, it's just common courtesy on the part of the dev.
"we all played U3 MP earlier in the year and we all enjoyed it."
Speak for yourself, I thought it was terrible. Still getting Uncharted 3, just going to wait for it to drop to $40 dollars, as I will not be playing the mp and I'm not going to spend $65 bucks on an 8-10 hour campaign.
If Skyrim is anything like Oblivion or Fallout 3, then it will be worth every penny, even worth more than the retail price.
Or people who are unsure or not as to whether they want to buy the game. Granted, it's not a very good way to know if you'll like a game, but it's a start.
They did the $20 dollar credit thing for Black Ops, though they almost didn't do it because Activision didn't want retailers to give out promo credit, so Amazon renamed it from promo credit to something else in order to get around Activisions assholery. Who knows, maybe Amazon will get around to doing the same thing with MW3? Probably not though.
"All I'm bringing to the table isthe fact that online is BIG now and if one player stresses online servers for about 5 months average the new person who buys the game used after that is going to stress the servers 5 months LONGER with no additional income to support it."
Yeah, we don't pay 65 bucks for a game to play it for 5 months, we pay 65 bucks to play the game as long as we damn well please. Even if the strain on the servers results in a loss of a lot ...
"and it's leaps and bounds beyond Gears 3 multiplayer.
Uncharted has matched everything Gears has done and surpassed it with the exclusion of Capture the Leader, but that mode isn't my cup of tea, lol."
No, just no. Uncharted 3 will surely be amazing when it comes to the campaign, but its multiplayer (at least from what I've played so far) is nowhere near as good as Gears 3 mp.
It's one of the best, if not THE best downloadable titles you can buy. I personally had a lot more fun with it than I did with Bad Company 2.
Manchester from Resistance: Fall of Man
Fun for the whole family.
"The full game will get it sometime this week or next."
Source?
I played Oblivion first, and didn't like it at all. Then after my friend (who hates Oblivion)kept nagging me to get Fallout 3, I finally caved and bought it and absolutely loved it.
I'm still getting Skyrim because it looks a lot more FO3-esque, but actually hearing that it is similar to Fallout makes me want it even more.
It was worth the 8 bucks I spent on it. It was short though (beat it in two days, spending maybe 6-7 hours on the whole thing, getting 100% trophy completion, but if you don't go for that, you will get a drastically shorter play time).
There's only a few new things in the DLC, but for the price that it's at, it's definitely worth it. They have added move support to the dlc (though they haven't added it to inFamous 2 yet, I hope they do) and it's surpr...
I personally expected 4gb internal, which is just enough to store save data, a few songs, and a few videos.
You may be personally okay with having to bend over and take it from certain companies, but others, well not so much. You should not have to buy a separate accessory to play a game. For movies and music, it's fine, but it's not okay if all you want to do is play the games.
Learning about the memory card requirement just turned the Vita from a &...
"its the equivalent of buying a tv and then having to pay the manufacturer every time i want to change the channel ( its a feature, included in my initial purchase, but then locked out unless i decide to pay more )"
Let me just stop you right there: no, it's not the equivalent of buying a tv and paying the manufacturer every time you want to change the channel.
It's the equivalent of paying someone else to set up your tv. Sure you could do ...
