Now THIS is a deal with the devil! ;)
When I saw the first trailer I thought it looked like it could be really fun and I love the bit where the characters are swimming near the ocean bed by the giant skeleton king. However I did suspect the game was dead so I hope this trademark means it is still coming.
@billythepunk - no worries!
It’s been 4.5 months since the game was released so it would be more accurate to write ‘why it took me 4.5 months to complete.’
I’m not busting chops! But better to not sacrifice accuracy to make a point.
I think Sony did well to delay this game when there have been so many other games competing for attention. Anthem, Crackdown 3, Apex Legends and going back to pre-Christmas, Fallout ‘76 have had their share of press coverage. Now the game with less hype and expectation around it, Days Gone, because of the quieter April release schedule, will have its chance. Hopefully Bend will deliver the goods.
We are in times where there seems to be a real battle for hearts and minds. Ga...
@Godmars290 You're absolutely right. The point I'm trying to make is that for next-generation launching first or having the most powerful console is not enough - there has to be exclusive in demand games.
The Xbox One X is currently the most powerful console on the market, most third party games should run best on it - however it hasn't outsold the PlayStation and this is because of one key factor - the range of exclusive games.
If Microsoft release a new console first in 2020 that is even more powerful than the Xbox One X it will get the sales from the hardcore (including me) however it will not become market leader just by being first and being the most powerful, it ne...
The lack of an Xbox One option demonstrates that Phil Spencer still has an uphill struggle to bring authentic Japanese games to the Xbox platform.
TheSixthAxis - if you don’t like it don’t play it. This is the sixth game in the series so you can’t pretend to be surprised by the content.
Who's that in the picture?
YouTube channels promoting games if done transparently is fine, but there should be no such thing as a sponsored review.
Persona 4 Golden Remastered.
@Foxtrot. Yes, Nadine was ridiculously dull! She serves no real plot point, this highlights how she was created inorganically by Neil Druckman to have a character for the DLC to reinvent Chloe’s story.
Also, the brother being revealed in the 4th game was jarring and bad storytelling. Your idea that he should have been a mentor from the orphanage is a good one as Sam would have fulfilled the same role and not cheated gamers by retconning the story.
I enjoy...
Amy came up with the idea for Nathan Drake and Uncharted so it's sad she wasn't able to complete her version of the story. She says there would have been more layers to Nathan's relationship with his brother, that it was troubled and that they would have reconciled/This is the mark of a great writer, not making someone default bad or good. I would have loved Amy's version. I enjoyed U4 and the opening scene and the conclusion. I don't care about the politics but creatively...
They should consider their multiplayer-only pirate game Skull & Bones because I don't see it selling too well otherwise.
'The Netflix Original of games.' Putting aside the opinions of Crackdown 3, I think that line is an indictment of the mediocre quality of many Netflix Originals which I share.
I love the Baldur's Gate games and I bought the remasters (and the originals back in the day!) which I have played on Mac & PC so it's great to hear that more people will be able to play them. I might even buy them again for my PS4! My only question is does this isometric top down view translate well to a large screen TV? I know Obsidian's Pillar's of Eternity was released on console, does anybody have anybody have any feedback on how it worked for them?
It sounds like Ouya users are in for a treat!
@mkis007 What makes you say that? I thought it was open-world.
Great news! Hopefully we’ll see Ron Gilbert’s Monkey Island 3.
