Whilst I hope I live long enough to play Star Citizen I have to say this headline made me laugh! It's like Peter Molyneux giving Sean Murray advice on how not to over-promise!
FIFA Football 2020.
@Princess_Pilfer. This person apparently said the hate comments regularly, it's obvious that besides being bad it violates a company's rules so it's understandable that he is banned from joining the community where he can do that again. But I too have concerns about a person losing access a library of games they've paid for. The solution you've suggested makes sense. Ban the account for life from the PlayStation Network, ban them from the PS Store so they can't buy n...
These types of articles are silly because they make assumptions about customers. Of course if you want to buy a new console and you know a new model will be released in a month you might decide to hold off from buying the current model, however this isn't the case here. If a person is in the market to buy a games console TODAY, because they want to play games today then they are not going to wait one and a half years for a newer model! They are going to make a decision on the current con...
Some people don’t know what inflation is. PS5 releasing, perhaps, 7 years after PS4 can’t be $399. If it cost the same, in real terms, it will be at least $450.
I’d prefer a powerful machine to a gimped machine.
Polygon gotta Polygon!
Reading on a 1080p screen there is a big ad on the left side that covers some of the text so the story is unreadable to me. Gamespew please test your website with multiple configurations.
PSVR 1 support on PS5 is great news. The resolution of the headset can't be changed, but the extra computing power can be used to boost quality. This means games will have a higher frame rate (so important for reducing motion sickness) and the graphics can be more detailed so they resemble the quality of their 2D counterparts. For example, Skyrim VR could have the detail of Skyrim Special Edition.
What gamer actually says a console has TOO MUCH power?!!!
A console can always perform better that's why we have new-generations. Controversial for clicks.
Solid news, direct from Sony about the PlayStation 5!
Summary:
* Mark Cerny is again lead system architect
* A number of studios are working with it
* Sony have accelerated its deployment of devkits
PS5 will have
* AMD’s Ryzen line and contains eight cores of the company’s new 7nm Zen 2 microarchitecture
* The GPU, a custom variant of Radeon’s Navi family, will support ray tracing
* The AMD ...
If the game we can buy has a complete, long and enjoyable play experience then I would want to spend more time in the world. In that instance, I would be willing to buy an expansion pack with a new adventure.
GamingBolt. You're asking the experts of a much loved, highly reviewed and good-selling genre to give it up and do something different. Perhaps the studio will grow their teams, but if you don't enjoy their games then maybe just don't buy them as there is a huge player base who loves them! It's like somebody complaining that the EA Vancouver keep making FIFA football games and wanting them to stop so they can go make an RPG.
Oh yes! Thanks Pozzle.
TLDR: A Microsoft focused website is angry that a former Xbox second-party has a timed exclusivity deal with PS4.
other.
I only played the start of the first game. How come the third game Lightning Returns is not included in the package?
If you want to do it, do it! There will always be naysayers. The worst that can happen is that a game may lose some of your trophy progress, if it's a game you're desperate to platinum then maybe wait until you've completed it. But other than that this is great news, it's what PlayStation owners have been asking for YEARS! I'm lucky in that I have the PSN ID I wanted (pretty much) from the start. But Sony enabling name-changes took a big fundamental re-engineering of thei...
"Can gamers survive on subscription services alone?" The bigger question is 'can the industry?'
A subscription game service, like with the music and movie industries, will mean gamers spend less on new products. What repercussions will this have, if any?
It's almost as if they didn't get the memo that April fools is over.
I didn't know that Mahjong was gambling. It's a shame if China do ban this because, from my limited knowledge of the country, many people there play it every day on real mahjong tables so it's a bit weird to ban the computer game versions of it.
