Recently Konami gave Metal Gear Solid V an update. They should try and regain the public favour by getting David Hayter to record the voice track for Snake. So if any long time fans want to hear the original Snake they now have a choice!
@capjacksparrow. It's no good you writing spoiler and then spoiling the game's ending. This is not the place to do that because some people come here who are interested yet have yet to complete the game. Please think of others.
The internet rule is don't post spoilers for anything unless a person has clicked into a page knowing there would be spoilers.
I don't think it will be 2019 as the PS4 is currently profitable on hardware units and software so there is no need for Sony to hurt that business prematurely.
However the Sony E3 conference was interesting in that they deliberately chose not to reveal new games. I thought that was because they didn't want to reveal new games too soon but maybe they were holding off for a February reveal - although I don't actually think it was that at all.
Interesting. But a 2020 release date!
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice was pitched to Microsoft but they turned it down. Sony saw it and thought it could be great. They agreed to fund development without demanding ownership. The game turned out to be a critical hit and modest financial hit - it certainly made a profit.

There's one that's titled 'Why I'm not excited for Red Dead Redemption II' and this one 'Why I'm Worried about Red Dead Redemption II.'
You can guarantee the quality of any unreleased game but you can look at the pedigree of the studio to give you a sense of what it could be. Rockstar Games last game, GTA V, was released almost five years ago and it's still one of th...

HOLY-MOLY!
At first instance this sounds ridiculous, for parents to spend money to support the vanity of a child who wants bragging rights in the playground. But then again maybe it's a sign that the hobby of gaming is maturing. Kids get tennis lessons and swimming lessons - why not gaming lessons? Sure it isn't a physical activity however competitive gaming is becoming more and more recognised as an (E) Sport with big money prizes. If a kid wants to grow up to do...
A game.
When most publishers slammed the door on Ninja Theory, Sony believed in them and made Hellblade happen. Now that Microsoft own the IP it’s doubtful this will come to PSVR.

Oh damn it. I've just ordered an Xbox One X. This is probably a new model with 2TB!
Sony's great strength is these phenomenal single player narrative game experiences. But considering their many studios there is something missing - a first party multiplayer game. Multiplayer shouldn't be forced into single player games, however a platform can really benefit from a multiplayer title. They increase player gaming times and console loyalty. Microsoft have been trying hard to do it with MP Xbox titles because they see the value but it hasn't worked out for them yet. P...
Diversity done right doesn't have to be thought of as scary or an attack on any one group - it is simply having games with characters that have a wider variety of backgrounds. Shuhei Yoshida is right, as the medium becomes even more mainstream then it should also be able to reflect the worldwide audience.
But care must be taken to create new original characters so diversity is reflected organically, Naughty Dog did this so well with Ellie as they set up her history. But...
These figures are not reliable as VGChartz doesn't have special access to Microsoft or Sony sales figures. The closest sales figures are what has been last publicly shared by Sony. Microsoft haven't shared figures for the Xbox One, however useful information comes from game publishers EA and Ubisoft who have said what the install base is for the consoles - based on the sales difference of their games on the different platforms.

'Light Monetisation.' That must be the good type.
‘Mostly water’ is said like a negative but that is what the Greek islands are! It’s also necessary for the seafaring element.
