What I love about the demo is that it's the best indication I've seen of what next-gen games will look like in terms of detail, textures, reflections and lighting. Also, the sheer balls of the gameplay with the extravagant fights with enemies bursting with character. This is definitely on my radar.

Flight Simulator is included with Xbox Game Pass. But rather than seeing it as an all-inclusive service, it should be regarded as a good value starting point where for certain first party titles you pay for extra elements.
Halo Infinite is intended to be running for many years so I suspect over its lifespan there will be extra downloadable content you can pay for. We just have to wait and see if these will be smaller items or larger expansions.
The DualSense has technical features that are innovative and could help gameplay immersion (how good it is in practice we have to wait and see). Committed Xbox fans and hardcore gamers will buy a Series X at launch no-matter what. However Microsoft will find it a more challenging proposition to sell to other gamers because of two unique factors; no standout exclusive that compares to Halo Infinite and also no generational exclusives.

I've slowly moved mostly to digital because I like being able to view my entire digital library in one place and start up and launch any of my games without having to find the physical media. But ti would be nice to still be able to get physical boxes to put on my shelves!
I’m just speculating here, but possibly the decision to make the game cross-gen made development more complicated for 343i. It may also have limited the potential performance of the Series X edition because it has been designed around XBO limitations. Hopefully the extra time can be used to make Halo Infinite a game that really Shines on Series X.
@Lore I’m a bit of a fan of the Order 1886 and have never thought of it as an RPG. Hearing your suggestion I think could work great and allow more room for the story and the characters to breathe. SONY!

Format exclusives are part of the industry and they aren’t going to go away. What surprises me most about all of this is that at the last game conference Sony’s business competitor also announced third-party timed exclusives like Yakuza Like a Dragon and that’s a whole game, whilst Spider-Man is just a single dlc character so that could be viewed as a bigger deal.
