@JoGam. In fairness I'm sure the PS4/XBO version looks better (I haven't seen it myself). It's got 60fps which is always nice but it's not going to be a game changing difference or anything from the last gen version.
I received the PS3 version free with PlayStation Plus and this is one game that is due a replay from me!
Do you know if it's cross-buy? EDIT: I just checked and it isn't.
Hi Themba, Thanks for your comments.
I totally agree about wanting to immerse yourself in an environment and take notice of the detail. I don't know if you saw the bit in the video where I made Sir Galahad walk, when I could have made him run, just to see the reflection of the sun in the puddle. All this stuff is delicious! It's just that when you are given the option run and then it's removed it feels like a restriction. But yeah, the graphics are on a different...
As it should be. It's a great design, sleek and the slant makes it seem fast which complements the console's target market. If you think that the alternative was for the designers to just plump it in an ugly box, the PS4 design shows the importance of design philosophy.
Very much appreciated.
You see that!
Yesterday one article where Jim Ryan was non-specific about a Drive Club PS Plus release date and you get websites all in a tizz declaring it as cancelled. It's best to write a story based on facts.
Fassbender's is already respected as a fine actor but his profile is going to go sky high what with starring in the Steve Jobs movie later this year and Assassin's Creed.
I wonder if he is playing Altaïr in the first game's Holy Lands setting or someone different.
Hi isarai.
If you look in EDGE magazine issue #277 page 12 column 3 it says "The spiritual successor - or simply - Game 01, as it's called internally."
Project Ukelele, does sound much better and it of course taps into that Banjo heritage!
Hi Pelida.
If you look in EDGE magazine issue #277 page 13 you will see that the images are real.
Hi Wonderfulmonkeyman.
In the video I make a comparison that the concept art is very similar to Ori and the Blind Forest. To underline the point I include two screen shots of Ori, however the Playtonic artwork is clearly labelled.
All those games are must-buys for me, although I don't think we'll see Street Fighter V until next year.
The first half of the year is normally pretty dry when it comes to game releases so PS4 getting The Order:1886 and Bloodborne a month later is a pretty amazing start.
It's looking very, tasty. Now just over a week to find out for myself how it plays!
Wow they look amazing, such smooth motion! It makes my mouth water to think what a top spec PC can pump this out at. Then wait for the hyper-real mods to start coming out!
That's amazing. It's great when gamers make a small gesture that can hopefully make a difference.
You can see the artwork here:

I'd love to know where I could sneak an early copy!
EDGE can be a bit over-critical so from them 8 is a good score! The reviewer mentions there is grinding in the game but overall is definitely very impressed.
Who is the unnamed publisher?
Why is their identity being kept secret?
Were they a partner at the time the Kickstarter was launched?
I love Fallout, I love Oblivion so THIS is exciting news because it probably means the reveal of a new RPG for one of these franchises.
The fact that they are holding their own conference (rather than being a reveal on a console manufacturer's E3 stage) makes it more likely that it will be multi-format so PC, PS4 & XBO fans can play it and nobody misses out.
It's only February but I'm already looking forward to E3!
The timing of this video isn't accidental! This ad isn't for the mainstream on TV. It's for gamers and it's basically saying to us there's more of the world to see! :)
