@TheGamer I haven’t tried the original 2d games because I’m so afraid.
@Christopher wrote "Why would anyone downvote this? Don't be silly. This is great news."
Is this your first time here?! And when you question the downvotes you get downvoted - I don't make the rules but that's the rules!
@MWeaver589 Exactly this point, it was advertised as free for everyone.
-Oh my God, this game looks like a complete rip-off of Helldivers II!
-At least it gives Xbox players the chance to experience something similar to the PlayStation game!
Jokes aside it does make you wonder why Sony, who owns the IP for both, is continuing with two products when there is such overlap. Should it one day make a new Starship Troopers film or a Helldivers film instead?
The default angle Kotaku always go for is to highlight the worst in gaming.
I would’ve focused on the creative.
I really enjoyed Fallout 4.
I loved the halfway goal of what you are building towards. I had a good sense of what it was and then when you finally are almost there the music builds up - beautiful!
@Eonjay Forget the meta scores there are plenty of people who loved Fallout 3 but thought Fallout 4 was a bit of anticlimax and I do get it. Pete Hines the retired head of Bethesda's PR was even asked about it, and his answer was that it was because it simply didn'...
DON’T SPOIL story, or reveal changes about characters for a BRAND NEW GAME in the headline - people should be able to avoid spoilers in articles on N4G.
I said it over 2.5 years ago!

Xbox should do the same.
There was a six year gap between the release of Halo 5 and Halo Infinite, and even then the latter had a staggered multiplayer and single player release - that’s a much longer than normal development time for a single biome sequel-game. The final product certainly didn’t indicate it needed that much time, that’s not a comment on the quality but indicates terrible project management.
If you recall there were endless stories about the revolving doors of senior development sta...
You spent a fortnight playing Fortnite?
So it begins.
Will the PS5 version have DualSense updates?
I know Sony mandates that PS5 games must have but I don’t actually know if a PS4 game updated to PS5 also counts.
I have my fingers crossed that Sweet Baby Inc. were able to advise Ubisoft to make character and story improvements.🤞🏿 ;
For too long Star Wars has been stuck in the dinosaur age, it’s so good that Disney is updating it to reflect modern audiences.
@Obscure_Observe Do not think that new hardware means that everything is okay with Xbox. When Steve Ballmer was head of Microsoft he kept the MS Office apps exclusive to Microsoft's Surface tablets. When Satya Nadella took over he made the software multi-platform and it was released on iOS/iPad OS and it reached a massive audience generated huge profits from subs. Microsoft still makes new Surface products but it's clear that the Apple and Android ecosystems are more valuable to it. ...
When will these politicised ‘journalists’ and gaming websites stop looking down on their audience? All it does is push them away and then they go down the toilet, look at Vice Waypoint, Kotaku,etc.
Ironically what IGN doesn’t realise is that calling out attractive women who appear in the game, indirectly insulting the developer’s wife and gamers are all forms of misogyny as they are all defining women look or behave one specific way denying them of their agency to be who th...
There is no ‘last chance redemption’ for Phil Spencer - he’s going straight to hell for tanking the Xbox console platform.
Who here’s GENUINELY triggered about the frame rate? If anyone does insist on 60 fps is it really worth waiting months extra for the PS5 version?
"IGN cope written by Xbox cheerleader Destin Legarie."
This muppet has Microsoft's hand so far up his backside he even makes shills embarrassed of him. I saw his coverage of the MS finalisation of the ABK deal and his reaction was smug delight as he felt it meant that the Xbox console platform would quickly become market leader. Following the initial leaks this year about (some) Xbox games going third-party he seemed genuinely shook up.

@CrimsonWing69 A greatly in demand IP only takes you so far, if it was crap quality then the reviews and word of mouth would have stalled its sales. But it is a good game (judged by Metacritic and user reviews) and that has given the game legs.
