When you’ve got the likes of long-time brand cheerleaders Colt Eastwood, Ryan McCaffrey, Jez Corden, CrapGamer and Andrea Pinchini losing it and going in hard on Xbox then you know something is really wrong and there is a loss of trust.
Hopefully Phil Spencer announces that Microsoft is making an officially licensed PS5 controller with haptics etc , but using the Xbox controller chassis! Then you get the best of both worlds! 🎮
Chris. The biggest story of the day that Starfield may be coming to PlayStation and it’s banned from N4G. Madness.

Which option will Microsoft choose for it's next console? 🎮
1) AMD
2) Nvidia
3) Intel/Arc
4) Custom ARM
5) Cloud-only.
What I noticed was that Kojima’s spiritual Metal Gear new IP having game and movie integration/overlap/continuati on (in some way) sounds very much like the vision he revealed at the Game Awards regarding his partnership with Xbox.
Some chump was recommending he sell his business to PlayStation - why would he do that? He has his own company, it’s making big money, he’s partnered with the biggest names to create his dream projects. Hideo Kojima is winning.
Genuinely, it's a little bit sad because this likely signals the end of the traditional Xbox hardware and disc era. The repercussions of retailers dropping games is they will be less inclined to sell the consoles and so begins the slow death of the Xbox as a physical platform.
With the games revealed at Xbox Direct in January not everything was labelled or promoted as Xbox exclusive.
I never knew there are TWENTY-EIGHT Simpsons games!
I believe that "200 Million Monthly Active Users" includes PlayStation players of Call of Duty and PC players of World of Warcraft.
Now Microsoft has the statistics it has probably found that it is making more profits from PlayStation gamers than Xbox gamers and this will affect its decisions on platform exclusivity.
'Fan-made Bloodborne Kart catches heat from Sony, forcing developers to SHIFT GEARS'
Bad writers believe that inserting cringey puns demonstrate superior writing ability and an insider knowledge. Here, it just feels very laboured especially as its the type of speech that is written but never said.
Their activism means something and can make a real difference.
Following Peta’s campaign to stop whaling in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, I completely stopped whaling in the game. Not one more whale life did I take - but that may be partially related to me completing the campaign and not going back.
And so it begins. 😞
18 million downloads across the GTA trilogy on Netflix is incredible numbers and dwarfs the total number of Starfield downloads. This highlights that whilst Microsoft wants Game Pass to be the 'Netflix of gaming' its reach is currently just as a complementary service to the Xbox games console. Whereas Netflix because it is so ubiquitous has the potential to be the real Netflix of gaming and do what Sony, Microsoft and Google Stadia all have dreamed of doing and reach the casuals who n...
Bethesda’s been using its Creation Engine for years and this likely because its developers are intimately familiar with it and it doesn’t have to pay licensing fees. But CE is now visually dated and now Bethesda is owned by Microsoft, so there is no necessity to hang on to every penny so like 343i it should consider switching to Unreal Engine 5.
Harrison Ford’s voice could have been used and would’ve sounded great!
1) Machine Games would have been able to ‘pay for him’ if his voice acting for the game was part of his contract for the recent Disney Indy film failure.
2) His voice could’ve been de-aged with AI. Then it would sound authentic (because it is Ford’s real voice) and young!
@DGames that’s actually quite a clever comment - for this place! Ancient would add a little something to the title and it would be logical in the name as it it’s the name used in present day.
They should’ve called Indiana Jones and the Big Square.
Joke. The name is a bit crud but the game looks like it’s fun to play. Leaving aside how the archeologist character and relic-hunting story and gameplay has clearly been lifted from Tomb Raider and Uncharted… I still hold Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis in very high esteem for capturing the spirit of the movies, so I hope this new game has a great story too.
I’m really glad that Microsoft, Bet...

Switch and PS5 owners are gonna love this.
The fact that one of the best selling games of the year that is also loved by public never even got an honourable mention at The Game Awards is a direct indictment of Geoff Keighley for pandering to the vocal minority in the games media.
Yep. It was blocking your comment!
