Personally, I blame using a protagonist that the target market couldn’t relate to and a focus on social messaging.
Sony incorporating more DEI into all its games is great news as it means more of the gaming community will get to see themselves reflected in the games they play. It would be really brilliant if it buys Sweet Baby Inc so they work in house and bring their influence to ALL PlayStation games. Then titles like AC: Shadows, Concord, Saints Row 2022 and Dragon Age: Veilguard will not just be outliers - they will be the norm.

@TheKingKratos There's nothing wrong with you not wanting to get a PS5 Pro! The games are exactly the same as those on standard PS5. It's like the many people who are happy with their purchase of an Xbox Series S, just because the graphics on the Xbox Series X are better it doesn't mean they have to get it when the Series S is just fine for them.

I watched the video in 4k. Horizon Forbidden West and Demon's Souls were the standouts to me, they look quite beautiful and noticeably improved with more detail, are richer. My words are not enough to describe them - but compare them to the standard PS5 versions and you can see what PS5 Pro offers.

I’m up for giving people options. However, when the game doesn’t allow female characters to have normal sized breasts or larger, then it is a misogynistic denial of biological females and the natural form of their bodies.
It’s 100% fair and right to examine Herman Hulst’s judgement, his capability and therefore his suitability to hold the title of CEO.
What happened with Concord? Did it have performance milestones that were missed? It seemed like it was half-baked, Acton and shooting and not much else so did Hulst push ǐt through being so basic because it was his baby? It makes you wonder what games are being greenlit and which ideas are being stopped.
