@Eonjay I believe IGN doesn’t own Hookshot (Push Square, Nintendo Life, Pure Xbox parent company) outright, but does have a percentage of shares which it obtained from its purchase of the Gamer Network.
Push Square’s editor Sammy Barker writing on IGN… I like Push Square for (mostly) focusing on games, but this consolidation by IGN shows that the online gaming websites are dying. Some like Kotaku, Polygon and GameSpot are in this self inflicted position because of their disdain for their own audience. But still, this seems like a portentous move to the closure of almost all major non-ign websites.

I read somewhere that the majority of the Bonnie Ross-era 343i team is gone. I don’t know if that’s true but it would be great to have a breakdown of staff changes major departures and new arrivals.
DriveClub was pretty and I loved the experience of driving in the rain, it was immersive. I had some good races with people from an old forum, but at times I found it to be a bit boring. MotorStorm was such a fun game to play and I loved the controls - it would make sense to remaster that.

There are so many people who are lying to themselves about the shift Microsoft has made towards becoming a multiplatform developer publisher. Yet, the message is finally sinking in for some of those extreme Xbox fans on X/Twitter as I've seen a few now say they are moving to PC.

Completely understandable that Microsoft would do this, otherwise Xbox owners without Game Pass would get access to this premium game for almost nothing.
In the medium term what will be interesting to know is if Call of Duty’s inclusion drives a significant increase in new Game Pass subscriptions or if its inclusion just results in a decrease in people who were going to pay full price. It’s a bold experiment, time will tell.
