The X1 was released in November. Idk how much time developers actually had with the system. I'm no programmer but designing, testing, implementation, and programming for a brand new system in a tight window cant be easy or quick (I would assume). Look at Forza, it was a bit rushed, lack of cars and tracks. I'm sure MS was breathing down their neck saying "we gotta get this game out like yesterday." Almost every game has DLC. You don't think every company holds a little back so they can sell it as DLC later? Come on man...
Triggers falling off, thats a problem. Thumbsticks flaking off, thats a problem. Buttons malfunctioning, thats a problem. Improving the dead zones of a wireless controller to make the FPS genre better on X1? Not a problem. How is making something better a bad thing/problem? When the 360's had the RROD, that was a problem.
I applaud MS for improving the controller even more. It's already the best next-gen controller, now even better. Has Sony put out an update for their controller? I'm sure there is room for improvement on that as well. I don't see the big deal in making something better. You can buy a $100,000 car and get a recall notice to come in and get something fixed. Every product can be upgraded to be better.
I have to agree, the bots look pretty stupid. They all piled out of that drop container and got murdered with ease. I understand you don't want them to be too good because the casual fan can't play it, but too easy and the hardcore player won't be challenged. Maybe instead of trying to find that perfect balance, make the bots tougher to kill. They don't have to be super smart or deadly, but if it takes a longer time to kill them it might give teammates more time to come assist...
Not everyone is going to love the game. I have no clue who this person is that submitted it. What's funny is whenever there is an article on gameplay and how great and fun it is....no PS fans attack or troll. But look at the articles about it being resolution less then 800 and its non stop trash talk. Just goes to show what some people find to be important. Gameplay should be #1 thing to true gamers. As long as its fun that's the main thing. Game can look amazing but if it plays like crap and is boring then you won't play it.
Um, I'm not a developer but I can't imagine creating a multiplayer feature is easy. Take a look at Battlefield, you have all different weapons which need to be balanced, map design, objective locations, different game types with different map layouts, terrain and building being destroyed.

From what I've seen, the bots give you next to nothing for XP so if you just run around bot killing it's not going to get you non-stop titans. Looks like objectives and killing real players provides the biggest boost.
Little disappointed the bots aren't going to be tweaked. All the video's I have watched the bots are beyond stupid. I mean it won't stop me from buying it, but the bots are basically useless lol

Not everyone is going to love the game. TitanFall is no exception. Just because the game has been hyped up and drooled over doesn't mean it will be perfect for everyone. Don't get me wrong, I am buying it day one and I can't wait for it, I'm hoping its awesome. But some people won't like it, thats fine too. My suggestion, try it out and play it, then decide.

As it is now, the game isnt bad. But at the launch (I have an X1) it was terrible to play. You'd get kicked to the dashboard, no sound for majority of the map, lagging everywhere, etc etc.
Still some issues but its better. The 0 health thing annoys me. If you have 0 health, your dead. I also hate the no sound for the first minute of a match if your in a vehicle. Lastly, the bullet lag is really annoying. Your getting shot, get behind a wall, and die 2 seconds later.
I have big expectations for this game and I think Xbox owners do too, especially X1. So far the X1 has been the butt of a lot of jokes and is behind PS right now, so if this game fails it's going to be really rough. I can't remember the last time a game had this much hype and meant this much to one system. It's really important that TitanFall have a successful launch and be a great game to play.

Lot's of companies change small things in order to make you buy new ones. Look at Apple with the new iPhone. You had to buy new AC chargers or adapters.
Does anyone know where you can find this website? Where are they going to post it? Be nice to have a couple more details besides "6pm EST sign up on website."
It's not even a major update so I don't know what all the fuss is about. Battery level and memory storage aren't the end of the world up dates needed. The major update will be in March, that's the one to really look forward to.
If this releases tomorrow or next week, no big deal.
I'm def not going to buy it because its not 1080 and 60fps. It's all about graphics. If the game doesn't look good, it's not good. Gameplay, overrated. And fun? Who wants to have fun playing a video game? I know I don't.
