Did I disagree with the article? Where in my response did I disagree with anything in the article? All I gave was my opinion on my own purchase. So no, that isn't "exactly" what I did.

I'm glad I bought my X1 on Day 1. The UI needs some tweaks which will get fixed with a system update. The upcoming game lineup is looking excellent. Games look beautiful and run great. So far very happy with it.
My list of 5 features I'd like to see update:
1. Friends list - put this right on the home screen. One click and I see my friends list. Dont make me go to friends, look at activity list, then click down to friends.
2. Party system - right now it's kind of a pain in the ass. It should default you to party chat (like the 360). And I'd like it to be quicker. Right now it's a pain to go home, start a party, invite someone, switch to party chat. ...
I preordered this game back when it was first announced on Amazon. No mention of BETA access was ever given. They should just allow people to download it and try it out.
I've been saying it for a while. If your going to offer digital only or digital in general, it should be cheaper. There is no disc, box, or instruction book to produce which cuts cost. And you can't trade the game into CrapStop or sell it on eBay. Games should be discounted if they are digital, make it worthwhile to buy it digitally.

Um, how about the games they are releasing? Idk about you but I'm perfectly happy/content with my X1 right now. Some new games are coming out, Kinect is pretty cool, some new system updates are on the way, not much to complain about. Maybe you should try it before you knock it.
Because thats the modern cool. I agree, looks stupid. They should just make a 3D Sonic game based on the old school games. Unfortunately, Sega and the Sonic franchise are dying.
I owned a PS3 and X360. Only games I bought on PS3 were exclusives. I like the Xbox controller better and Live service better so I bought all multiplatform games for the 360. I'd do the same for the PS4 if I had one. I wouldn't buy a game for one console or the other just because graphics are slightly better. More about which system I enjoy playing on most, which friends are buying it for which system, stuff like that.
You have to understand Mike, it's all about graphics. Gameplay? Who cares. As long as it looks beautiful all that matters. Yea having to hit a tank with 4 SMAW (i think thats right) is ridiculous.
The vehicle that needs the biggest nerf in the world is the AA tank. How come firing normal tank rounds takes idk, 5-10 seconds to reload, yet the AA anti air missles reload in about 3 seconds. There is so much anti-air in the game its ridiculous. Engineers get anti air. Snipers can paint a target. Every tank, even ships, can designate air. Unless you have an engineer sitting there repairing you all day...
16 maps are more than enough. I was thinking it would be like 10, maybe 12, but 16 is excellent. Nothing worse than playing the same map over and over and over. Sure your going to eventually but with 16 it won't be as tiresome.
I wonder if the DLC will feature not only new maps but new Titans and weapons.
