11. Don't call in your Titan if the other team has substantially more Titans. If the other team has lets say 4 Titans and your team has 1, chances of yours lasting aren't very good. First take out the other Titans, then call yours in.
12. Watch the shield on your Titan. Once your shield goes down, so does your health. Back out of battle, let the shield recharge, then go back into battle.

I think all the resolution talk is because 2 systems were released together (week apart). Both are next generation. Everything is 1080p today. X1 costs $100 more yet 1080p is a struggle right now. The cheaper, more powerful PS4 is doing 1080p on virtually everything. Does the X1 not running 1080p bother me? Not at all.

I thought the same thing, I've never played a Thief game before. But on X1 the other day there was about a 10 minute Thief video that had a walk through and it looked really really good. My friend watched it and preordered it. Not sure if the PS4 has the video on PSN but def check it out. One of the better preview videos I've watched. I'm still on the fence though. Might wait for a used copy to try it out instead of dishing out $65.

I can't really tell the difference. I thought games on X1 looked good to begin with. I saw a comparison and they look more blurry now, I actually liked the sharpened look. Oh well, no biggie.
I knew that BF didn't play in 1080p on X1, yet I'd still bought the X1. I would buy it again too, no regrets. I don't buy a gaming system solely on specs. I buy it based on the games coming out for it and the type of games I like. Halo, Gears of War, Titanfall, Forza, all exclusives I really enjoy. I play mostly online so I like multiplayer games. Uncharted, Last of Us, Infamous, all excellent games but lack that deep multiplayer gameplay.

I dont think these articles will ever stop. I thought it would once the systems were launched, but no, they beat a dead horse to death. I thought that once games got released the focus would be on games, but no. X1 doesn't play in 1080, its more expensive for less console, remove kinect, PS4 version looks better, dev says X1 can't play 1080, etc etc etc. Who knows when these stupid articles will stop. Why call in your titan if other team has 5 on the map? You can see how many titans there are by the score board. If a team has outnumbered your titans, don't drop yours in, wait until your team kills them.
And the lock on, it locks onto an enemy. It cant help if there are 2 or 3 titans together and they keep moving around.
Why though? Why focus on the AI when they aren't really important? Focus on killing titans, pilots, and getting objectives. I kill between 10-15 pilots a game and 10-15 bots. Most of those bot kills are walking over them or clearing out an objective. The hardcore gamer can focus on pilots and titans, the casual fan feels useful killing bots. It's a good medium for both play styles.
Should be a hardcore mode where the bots are really strong, that would be nice.

Aren't they only worth 1 point in attrition where pilots are 4 and titans 5? I only played one game of attrition, didn't like it. Hardpoint is more enjoyable to me, plus the bots don't interfere with the outcome of the game. Finding pilots to kill isn't hard. If your singling in on bots to kill, your really not helping the team where you could be taking down a titan, getting an objective, or finding pilots.
I play Hardpoint, objective based, so killing bots does nothing to the overall score of the game. I end up killing more pilots then bots anyway. All they do is take a whopping 5 seconds off my titan fall. Pilots are like 30 seconds. Bots are stupid yes, but at least they go to objectives and you can use them as bait.

You know you can delete games right? Not sure what 5 games you have, but eventually you'll probably stop playing a couple of them. If you have Madden, you'll prob buy next one. If you got Forza, you'll prob buy next one. I had the original X360 with 20GB hard drive. I never upgraded the HD. When space got low, I deleted arcade titles or crap I didn't play. 500GB seems like plenty to me.

Which games? Killzone and Knack? Multiplatform games? X1 has more exclusives out now. If your talking indie games, yes, but major titles they don't have much out really.
The bots are tricky, they really are. What I would like to see is the bots take more damage, meaning they are tough to kill. That way if you come across three of them, shooting them up could give away your position. As it is now, they will go to objectives, stand there, and wait to be killed. I actually was killed by one the other day because my health was so low. If I am in a titan, they do shoot rockets at you which is kind of annoying (in a good way). Not sure why people are expecting KZ or Ryse graphics for a multiplayer game with so much going on. Could they be better yes. Are they terrible? No. I think it's a good looking game. Not beautiful or jaw dropping, but the gameplay makes up for it easily. And has anyone even seen what the 360 looks like? So we can't be too quick to judge X1 from 360.

I didn't think this was a jealous Sony article at all. Just a collection of issues/problems identified on titanfall forum. The author didn't make these up. Some are legit issues and others are fantasy.
Hard point bots dont factor in at all. I played attrition aka tdm last night, two guys on other team had combined for 72 not kills and 4 pilot kills. One of them had 1 pilot kill. They still lost to our team.
I prefer hard point cause you dont have to worry about bums sitting and killing bots all match. Its objective based.
